“Buona ristorante (aka Buona pizza) advertises themselves as a classy Italian restaurant. This place is nothing more than a pizza joint. Extremely small inside with paper table cloths that they tear off from a big roll on the back wall. Ordered garlic bread and calamari for appetizer. Garlic bread was OK, calamari was so tough you could not even chew it. My mom's OSSO BUCO ALLA MILANESE (pork shank) was seasoned good, but I could tell it was cooked earlier and then heated up. The outside of the pork was warm, but the middle was stone cold. My wife and I got a Hawaiian pizza. It is thin crust and extremely soggy. Could not even pick up the pizza slice it was so soft. Had a horrible, weird tast me to it, almost like a sour tomato sauce. Barely even ate one slice and left the rest of it there. Went there for birthday dinner, and it was ruined. I guess our first red flag should have been that on a Saturday evening, it was not even busy.“

“Had a wonderful time tonight while we were there. We were greeted with a smile and taken to a table almost immediately. The atmosphere was great and a bowl of water for our dogs was brought to the table. Our severs name was Kenny and she was fantastic. She recommended a drink called The Painkiller. Totally loved that drink. I ordered the oysters and was surprised by the size of them. Very good and filling. Kenny was fun to talk to and happy to be around. “By far the best subs in town! Not your typical ham and cheese sub shop. The subs they make are booming with flavor and variety. Cool Ranch Ryder, and their October special (Witch hunt?) are amazing! I wish they had a Tyrone location buttttt then again I’d probably be there multiple times a week if they were that close to me. The staff are always so friendly, fast and efficient, and accommodating. Kenwood location is our favorite one but I’m sure they’re all amazing.“

“Great atmosphere friendly staff. We had to wait about 40 min to get in as they were pretty busy when we got there. If it’s a super sunny day I would recommend eating inside we are outside and it was super hot and sunny the umbrellas they have don’t cover much. The food was super good! I got the waffle burger and I was really good! It would be worth trying the combination of sweet and salty was perfect. It was served with breakfast potatoes those were not very good as they were soggy I only ate a couple because I couldn’t handle the texture of the soggy potatoes. I ate some of the fries my husband got with his meal and they were really good! If you’re in the area give this place a try they’ve got a good menu with lots of choices.

Parking: We had a tough time finding parking. You had to get lucky to find street parking. There was a garage not too far away that had reasonable parking.“

If you believe any of this, then you are missing out on this not so hidden gem in Florida, by way of New York! 13 of us had lunch there!!! I wish I could give them 13 stars!
