My first time at Dons' Place was with my friend Herb Diegl with Universal Medical Lasers in 2000 and I was very impressed with the bar and the owners, Don & Don. I had a great time spending time there indulging in my favorite beverages and their great food. It also was my first experience playing bocce ball at the outside 'tiki bar' and throwing darts, and playing pool inside as well. Nice little treat finding this place! Local watering hole that wasn't packed with a bunch of tourists. The first bar where I felt like a local being here. Great jukebox and no one messed with us. Check it out for a local dive bar!

What a divey bar but it's not bad. We only had drinks so can't speak about the food. The bartender was dressed up for Halloween and she was pleasant. Cheap drinks and spacious place. What more to ask for in Key West.
