Lolita's Coastal Cocina Reviews
Amazing breakfast. Had the crab cakes benedict, and I can fully recommend. Great morning views, and quality service.
This place just may be the best Mexican restaurant in all of Key West! Our lovely bartender Heather treated us like family and made our experience even more blissful. If you are looking for exceptional dining, outstandingly friendly service, and incredible atmosphere this IS the place.
Grand Opening was fantastic!!! Upscale but Florida casual is good. Great service! Mexican food plus other American options were exceptional!! Family friendly or a romantic getaway spot it’s all good.

Lolita's Coastal Cocina is a Mexican restaurant on the water known for its gorgeous sunset views and relaxed, bright atmosphere. It is a great place to enjoy a casual lunch or dinner outside, though reservations can be very hard to get for sunset. The restaurant nails fresh, flavorful coastal dishes. Many items are praised, including the fantastic and delicious Oaxaca Burger, described as one of the best burgers ever. The corn bread is delicious, and the enchiladas are some of the best. The guacamole and queso fundido are delicious, and the grouper a la Vera Cruz and passion fruit margarita are excellent. The mocktails are also delicious, with fresh, creative, and perfectly balanced flavors.
However, experiences vary. Some find the food ok or so-so, mentioning the Langosta Quesadilla, chile con queso, and a messy taco dish as not that memorable or great. The Lolita Bowl and hollow French fries received negative feedback. A major point of contention is that the restaurant is very pricey and extremely pricey, with charges for items like extra tortillas and no free chips, which some find surprising for a Mexican restaurant. Margaritas can be pricey and not that great. Service is generally described as impeccable, friendly, helpful, and attentive, with specific staff members noted as knowledgeable and polite. But there can be hiccups, such as a lost receptionist. Overall, while some guests will definitely be back, others feel they are basically paying for the location and would only recommend the place for a drink, small appetizer, and the sunset view.
