“On July 24, 2025 went to Cheng's with a party of 8. We had a reasonable 10 minute wait and were seated.

Our server got to us promptly with our drinks and took our orders. Our food came out fast and fresh and was delicious.

Half of our group had never been there before and were very impressed, and that's not an easy task.“

“Went through the drive thru during lunch hours. The wait was a little long having to park at the curb for the order. However, the drive thru member, Tamara was excellent. She offered to have me try a different flavor of the refresher drinks in the drive thru. The food tasted great so no complaints.“

“My wife and I have frequently dined at the King Fu Chef in The Villages, and generally we have loved the ambiance, the staff, and the food, but I had been less than fascinated with their version of Mongolian Beef. Well, I kept seeing posts that praised their Mongolian Beef, so we decided to give then another try on 09/29/2025. Happy Event: Kung Fu Chef has redeemed itself! I have eaten at Kungfu Chef many times, and generally it is very good. But, the previous time I had the Mongolian Beef, I thought it was way too overcooked to the point of being burnt, but now they ARE BACK! Today the Mongolian Beef was SUPER! Great robust flavor, good aroma, plenty moist and flavorful, and a single dinner meal was larger than the two of use could eat for lunch, so happy event: We got to take 1/2 of it home for supper the next night. So happy to see they have the good chef back! By the way, don’t forget to ask for a small bowl of “chili oil”; their version of this sauce has many complex undertones without being too spicy, we eat a lot of it in Hot and Sour Soup, add it to fried rice, and in this case, to the Mongolian Beef.“

“I had been skeptical to try here bc i hadn't heard much about it, and there were not many reviews, but I found myself close today during lunch time l, called ahead and it was ready quickly . Got the genreal tso lunch combo . It was straight forward, good chinese takeout, just the right amount of spice and the family that owns it is nice . If I had to pick 1 thing to criticize the chicken they use for general tso has alot of breading vs chicken ratio , but it was cooked well and seasoned nicely. Will come back to try more:)“

“It's been 5 years since I had American Chinese food! Hit the spot-ish. Shrimp egg rolls were delicious.
The shrimp egg foo young was bland. [I'm used to no gravy] but this was 0 flavor on the patty itself. Added soy sauce and it was good.
Beef and broccoli and king pao chicken were good! Huge portions for even the small option.“

“China Liu is an absolute gem in the world of Chinese cuisine! My wife and I recently decided to try their chicken lo mein meal, which came with fried rice and an egg roll, and we were blown away by the quality and flavor. The food tasted incredibly fresh, as if it had just been made to order. The fried rice was perfectly moist, not dry like you find at many other places, and the chicken was tender, juicy, and full of flavor.

“My server is amazing his name is Chin but he likes to be called Jason and I suggest if you go say Sue with the chicken said that you were the best. He's more personable you know when I see him we talk about first so you know I get my hug and then we talk about the kids and you know he remembers you when you come the other girls they don't even speak English. “Ordered delivery through DoorDash and got General Tso's chicken, Beef with mushrooms, crab rangoons, shrimp egg rolls. Everything was perfectly cooked and amazing. I've had other General Tso's from other places and they usually overcook it till it tastes like cardboard, but this was sooooo good, just the right amount of heat and chicken so tender“

“Terrific surprise! Ordered dinner twice from China Chef. Food was very enjoyable. Portions were enormous. It used to be that the ONLY reliable flavorful Chinese restaurant in or near The Villages was Yummy House in Ocala. China Chef may indeed change that.“
