“As one of the only places that serves alcohol in Magic Kingdom, I give this four stars. Otherwise it’s average at best. And to be honest - the booze is watered down and not worth the calories. The Cachapas are actually decent but the rest is meh. Definitely make a reservation but we were able to walk up and wait 20 minutes at lunch time. I don’t dine the interior particularly cute but it’s down“
“Dole Whip is a must when visiting Disney! Surprisingly, We didn't see many dole whip shops around the parks so when we saw this one in Animal Kingdom, we had to get it. Even though it wasn't super hot out since we came in January, it was still a refreshing treat. We got the dole whip with coconut rum but you barely taste the alcohol since there was so much of the dole whip. It was the perfect consistency, super creamy and pineapple flavor stood out nicely.“
“WE ATE WITH FAMILY AND VERY GOOD FOOD AND ATMOSPHERE BUT ABOVE ALL THE SERVICE AND ATTENTION WE WERE NICK (NICOLAS)HE IS VENEZUELAN WITHOUT A DOUBT THE BEST WAITER WE HAVE HAD WE LOVED THE TREATMENT VERY FRIENDLY THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR SUCH A GOOD TIME GREETINGS AND GOD BLESS YOU ? HE DESERVES A THOUSAND STARS ?“
“A nice place to eat in Animal Kingdom. This attraction is inside Animal Kingdom requiring you to have access to the park (i.e. you need to buy or have tickets to get into the park). The location is behind the Tree of Life near the Safari Ride, Exploration Station, and Gorilla Falls. It consists of several small food places set in front of lots of places to eat. There is a sign in front of the entrance that shows you the food options and directs you to order and pay online. We ordered a children's size Chicken Bowl and Shrimp Bowl. When your food is ready the app on your phone will inform you what station to pick it up. All of the tables are outside and are a mismatch of chairs. I do not believe that there were 2 of the same chair at any table I saw. Most of the tables have some degree of shade. We sat in the back next to the fence and got to enjoy the train as it transited between the mani stop and Rafiki's Planet Watch and Exploration Station. Each of the kid's meals was under $10 and they were ready within minutes of the time that was stated. They tasted very good and were a nice meal for the day. The area was clean and the staff were very nice. Overall, it was a very nice experience for getting a good meal in Animal Kingdom.“
“The mara is the quick service eatery located on the ground floor at animal kingdom jambo house. A fairly simple menu consisting of burgers, salads and other meat and rice bowls. Food is cooked fresh once ordered and brought to the table. Alternatively ypu can place a mobile.order via the Disney experience app.“
“We had an excellent dinner. The thing I appreciated the most, alongside the amazing food and service (thank you, Kevin - even if you aren't a giant bird) was the attention and care that Chef Pamela took with our kids for their allergies. She walked the line with both of them individually, talked to them like adults, and made sure they knew they were in charge. Then, she grabbed food from our youngest, as if she wasn't crazy busy in the kitchen. I saw her working back there, I know she was! Our youngest got shy, Pamela was patient with her, and even checked on her later. Thank you so much, this was special and our little was so happy!“
“Not even words can tell you how fabulous the service, the food and atmosphere actually is. I know it’s Disney but wow! We had the Rum Swizzle and the Prickly Pear Mule to start. Then we had the most amazing meal of Indian style bread service with 9 authentic dipping options. Followed by the Giraffe Tower Mousse. We had the best service from Matt. So knowledgeable and friendly! We sat in the bar with no wait! And went to see the tortoise after dinner.“
“If I could give this experience more than 5 stars, I would. We had SUCH a good experience there. I went for my birthday and they made it special. Our server was amazing. Literally the best I have ever had. She took care of our food allergies exquisitely. I felt confident that everything would be safe. And she made sure that everything was safe for everyone at our table with multiple allergies. The atmosphere was so fun! We lived in Africa for several years and between the food, uniforms, and the atmosphere here and in the lodge, it reminded us of home. The food was so tasty. We will include a stop here next time we are at Disney.“
“It was my first time eating at Kalalou and it was a great experience celebrating my fathers’ birthday. Our server Olivia was amazing! She checked up on us periodically and made sure we have everything we needed! Good job Olivia! My family and I will definitely come back.“
“WOW!! Best grilled corn I've ever had. The harambe fruit market is located in Animal Kingdom, Walt Disney World. Because of the unique African spices that the grilled corn came with, I just had to try it. The corn was juicy and perfectly cooked. The African spices gave it a nice kick and it was so flavorful. Highly recommend trying it!“
“The food is very good, in an African atmosphere where the dishes are (some) from this particular part of the world. The menu is very well taken care of, since it is quite limited, but it makes up for it with the range of flavors and textures of the food. The prices are somewhat high, but the staff is very good and always attentive to any request from diners.Highly recommended!!!“
