I think if you are staying for just a few days it would be fine, however any longer and you sort of run out of choice.

“First trip to Disney since 2013, and one thing that I truly appreciate is how accommodating they are of plantbased diets and accessibility to the disabled. They are great at being inclusive of everyone.

They clearly labeled their vegan egg wrap on their menu. It’s labeled vegetarian but it’s vegan. The only downside to my wrap was that it was hardly full. My friend also got the same wrap and it was stuffed. A friend who came with us said they’d heard they even have vegan Mickey waffles. I asked the staff about it and they said yes they did, it was just off the menu.

We started our morning surrounded by the relaxed, vibrant energy of the food hall. If you know us, you know we have high standards for a solid resort breakfast, and El Mercado came through as usual.
* The Waffles: Golden, fluffy, and cooked to perfection. We absolutely loved the waffles, just like we always do. They have that ideal crisp exterior with a soft, warm center that instantly sets the right tone for the day.
* Pancakes, Sausage, & Bacon: Classic comfort food done right. The pancakes were light and airy, while the bacon had just the right crunch. Paired with savory sausage, it made for a complete, satisfying morning spread that kept us fueled for hours.
Midday Pick-Me-Up: Phenomenal Lunch
After spending time enjoying the resort grounds, we headed back to El Mercado for lunch, and it truly stole the show.
* The Barbacoa Bowl: Absolutely phenomenal! Packed with tender, perfectly seasoned, slow-cooked barbacoa beef, rich rice, beans, and fresh toppings, every single bite was loaded with flavor. It delivers the perfect blend of hearty, fresh, and savory, easily rivaling any dedicated Mexican grill around town.

Food quality is huge, but customer service is what elevates a meal from good to unforgettable. During lunch, we had a minor snag with one of the chicken sandwiches. Before we even had time to wonder how it would be handled, the culinary team stepped up.
They replaced it happily, quickly, and without a single moment of hesitation or fuss. There were zero worries at all. In fact, their genuine hospitality and enthusiastic attitude turned what could have been a minor hiccup into a standout example of stellar customer care. “Ordered the penne marinara — my first time trying Italian food — and it was actually really good! The staff member who helped me order was super friendly and even offered extra sauce if I needed it. I asked for something spicy, and he mentioned upfront that the pastas aren’t spicy but kindly gave me red chili flakes. Overall, good food and a nice experience!“

“Regular at Universal. Already ate half the food as the portion was huge. Depends on time of day vs freshness. This employee, Fabien, is their most thorough, friendly employee that takes care of the seating area. Have seen him work on numerous trips. Anyway, pay attention to portions coming out of the diner as you can share many of the meals“

“This place is a great way to get a healthy breakfast on vacation, they offer protein shakes and Greek yogurt. Prices weren't good, but are the best you'll find here. Staff was really friendly and if you're staying at the royal pacific, would highly recommend for a fast and healthy breakfast.“
