We have visited this restaurant twice and both times have been excellent. Wonderful service and food is delicious. Salads are fresh and pizzas are crisp, where they really shine with their cookies. Get a reservation or you will be waiting 60-90 minutes.
I’m all about that cookie bar 😎 The vegan chocolate chip cookie was super tasty! The food and drinks are solid, but it’s the vibe and design of the place that I love most.

Summer House on the Lake offers an amazing dining experience with its food and setting. The atmosphere is cute, and the bar area provides a different vibe. The service can be improved, as servers may rush through orders before guests have finished their meals. However, some servers, like Andrew and Jay, provide superb service and make excellent recommendations. The cornbread appetizer is always a go-to choice, and the sangria is sophisticated. Guests have enjoyed the buttermilk pancakes and tostadas for brunch, with the pancakes being absolutely delicious and very filling. The tostadas are also very flavorful. On the other hand, some dishes, like the salad with steak, may lack flavor. The food is delicious and well-served in quantity and flavor. The place can be very busy, leading to a bit of noise and slower service. The drinks are excellent. For a good water view, sitting at the bar or outside is recommended. There is a bake shop to visit on the way out. Overall, it's a great spot to visit again or try other locations.
