“I took my 89-year-old mom here this evening and we were the only gringo diners so I guess that proves that the place is authentic. The food is great. As others have noted, if it says "chicken" on the menu you should expect bones as well. The staff is very friendly and welcoming and enough of them speak English that you won't have to get out Google Translate if you're incompetent in Spanish. The chicken soup was especially good (it's a $14 dish that two can split or it could be your entire meal).“
“This place is quaint but the FOOD has BIG FLAVORS… the food is reasonably price for the quantity and it’s absolutely delicious. Always packed so go on an off day .. place is small but super cute.. the service is friendly … highly recommend for authentic LATIN FOOD❣️“
“The street corn was awesome, of the things I've has a would highly recommend the brisket papi bowl, the Carne asada tacos, and the short ribs empanada. They have a great happy hour. If you like sweeter drinks the Coco Loco is the move!“
“I had a wonderful experience. The waiters were incredibly kind and attentive, making sure our meal went smoothly. But let's talk about the real star of the show: the host. Not only was she stunningly beautiful, but she was also incredibly attentive to our needs. She made us feel welcome and taken care of throughout our whole dining experience. The food was also delicious, with a great variety of options to choose from. I highly recommend trying their signature dish - it did not disappoint.“
“Legit tacos served up in the back of a gas station. Visiting some snowbirds and we're looking for something other than the typical beach fare and prime rib specials. Don't be put off that this is in a gas station- the food is delicious and served up hot. We tried all different tacos, a quesadilla for my daughter along with mango smoothies for each kid. The sauces were delicious, tacos were perfect, and the sides (we got rice and beans as well as the corn) were excellent as well. Do yourself a favor and order online. We didn't and had to wait in the gas station market for 15 min, but it seemed most people ordered online and just picked up.“
“You order at the front, pay and then find a seat on the patio where they deliver your food. The place is on the small side but the food and vibe are excellent! The service was also very friendly and were often around and helpful.Parking: Construction was going on so it was difficult to park the last time I went, the time before I found parking quickly.“
“I have been coming here for years! Maybe once a year but when they first opened I was here at least twice a week! I personally know the owners and they are the absolute sweetest! It’s nice to come and see they have hired workers that mean things are going great for them! I had no doubt they will be still standing years to come in just happy to have a place so close to home as nice as black bean! The food and pastries and aren’t anything short of amazing! (If you’re in doubt get a burrito) but I promise you won’t be disappointed! Come support black bean if you love great food!“
“This place was highly recommended to us while we were in town. The food and service were great. Where we live it's hard to find good Cuban food unless I cook it myself, but this place reminded me of the restaurants I'd go to as a kid We will definitely budget to come back whenever we are in the “
“The food is top tier very flavorful,? Only reason I wouldn’t give 5 stars is the wait time which may be up to an hour but All other aspects it’s a good place. They play music and you can grab a beer while waiting it’s a very nice vibe.“
“That skirt steak dinner is Amazing it was soft not chewy who ever is in that kitchen cooking is doing it with love. There is also a greek place across the street that is amazing the food in this area is great. Staff was also great. Both great for dates but not full blown dinner parties due to limited seating. ??“
“Easy to miss restaurant when driving down Broadway. We come here every other week for a quick bite, we are local, the wait staff is quick and friendly. The food has always been delicious every time. The neighborhood is unsavory at times, so if you feel unsafe (I'm used to the riff-raff) it's best to order to go. But definitely worth a try!“
“I love going to Rafiki Tiki! I have gone several times on a Friday or Saturday night. I really love the atmosphere. There has been live music which was really fun. Their drinks are really good. I usually get the blue drink. I have gotten steak tacos which were delicious. I have also gotten the Captain crunch chicken sandwich, which was delicious. It was crunchy and sweet.“
“Our Spanish club met here for a language development activity. We had Camillo as our waiter. What a good time!!! He entertained us with a song, helped us order in Spanish, and made us laugh with his funny jokes. The food was excellent. Just like the service. This is the ideal place to enjoy authentic Latin food and have a great experience!“
“Today 3-6-24, walking in WPB I looked for a Latin restaurant, Google suggested Don Café. Excellent breakfast, everything delicious: the coffee, the toast and the scrambled eggs. Very good service, I recommend it⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“I love coming to this place. Apart from all the food being delicious, I really enjoy the atmosphere full of peace, joy, and my friend Yami who serves my family and me with a lot of love and affection. My favorite coffee with milk that Yami prepares for us with its little heart shape on top gives it a special touch. I highly recommend coming to this place if you want to start your day with a good vibe and leave Al Pan Pan satisfied. :)“
“Ordered through the drive thru. Jamorris (probably spelled that wrong, i apologize!) was very nice and attentive and repeated my order back to me to ensure it was correct since it was a large order. The drive thru moved fairly quickly and I received all my items. The employee at the window was very nice as well, I completely forgot to ask for sauces but she asked me if I wanted any before I drove off so that was appreciated. Great job!“
