“I was there two weeks ago. The food was fine but not what I expected from all the reviews I read. I wondered how many were paid for with discounted foods if they were written. I was appalled by the behavior of the owner towards his employees. Cussing and yelling at his staff, treating them with no respect. I was embarrassed by his unprofessional behavior and wondered how he keeps his staff. After talking to a customer who was sitting near me they told me the longest staff member was only there 4 weeks. Our server, Allison, was wonderful and gave us more great local tips, not to mention the food was outstanding! “This was my first time eating at Olive U. My doctor recently told me to eat Medeterian foods only because of a fatty liver. I can't believe how delicious the food is. No salt but flavored so tasty. There is only one problem. it's almost an hour from where I live. As long as the gas stations have Petro, I'll be here. The staff is soooo incredibly nice. I'll be back, God willing.“

“Was not as positive experience as I usually have. Steak was way overdone & had to wait a very long time to have another one prepared. One person finished their ENTIRE meal before steak meal was brought out, so we ate in shifts! Flight of wine that came with steak was just fair, will not order that again nor steak. No manager ever came by to ask how our meal was as they often used to do. Server was busy, so although very nice, do not come around often. I did enjoy the view & my mixed drink.“

“We went to celebrate King Charles coronation. We had a great time. 6 ladies all wearing fascinators and spring dresses. We had the Duchess tea with champagne. Started with tomato soup and quiche. Then tray of sandwiches, scones, sweets. The cinnamon cream and jelly were just right for the perfectly baked scones. Of course the tea was delicious, I had gingerbread tea. My granddaughter had the Tot tea with a little pot of pink lemonade. She loved it. We will definitely be back. The parking was great. We parked on Dixie Hwy and walked around the corner to avoid a possible tight space. We walked to the park across the street to enjoy the huge trees and walk off some of the fullness we felt.“

“Found King Subs on FB and ventured in to find a CLEAN, beautifully decorated little family owned sub shop. They didn't HAVE to decorate so nicely, but they did anyway - and that shows that they take pride in their appearance and their customer's first impression. My 12" Pastrami w/ provolone sub was 5 stars. (My co-worker was even jealous when he saw it! LOL) Great value for the money and I got two meals out of it. I LOVE that they use Boar's Head meats. Forgot to take a pic, but will next time. And there will definitely be a next time. 😋😋“

“We dined in , the place was neat and clean, the service was fine, I had the steak wrap with feta instead of cheddar. Accompanied with a Greek salad and beverage. It was there special of the day. The Greek salad had nice ripe red tomatoes, along with what seemed like pickled onion, very enjoyable. The wrap was well put together, very tasty. The iced tea unsweetened was really good. Whatever tea they're brewing topped off the meal. I will have to try their high dollar menu for the next time I patronize this establishment. That will be the true test, will let you know.“

“My wife and I had a wonderful experience when we visited the restaurant in Alton. The music was loud and we were going to leave but my wife decided to go speak with one of the managers to see if he could do anything about it because we have hearing problems. He immediately got the music turned down a little and then got us a seat within 5 minutes. The food was wonderful and Chris the GM kept checking with us that we were being taken care of. Well done Chris.“
