“I lived in Lake Wales for over twenty years and I love Al’s Place the friendliest bar in town, remind me of the old tv show “Cheers “ when everyone knows your name. The beer is cold, the food delicious and they give you plenty. On your first trip there you will get initiated with the yardstick and become a member of the family group. My son and daughter got me back in Pennsylvania as I age to see that I have proper care, but promise me every so often the would bring me back to Lake Wales to visit all my old friend. Looking forward to February at when they celebrate the the holiday Mardi Gras and have a great time with all my old friends…..It’s a pleasure…Thank You.“

“Went through drive thru and I have to say the line was rather long but moving smoothly. I got a steak burger and OMG this is not your typical fast food! This burger had flavor that is hard to find even at a sit down restaurant!! I was very pleasantly surprised! This is our new go to!!!“

“Went for lunch earlier today, me and my partner both got the bacon cheese fries, they were alright, wish they had melted cheese instead of shredded cheese but it was decent. The service was great however Malissa and Julio helped us and they were very nice they were also very fast so that was nice. The place however definitely seems like it needs some work, it was clean but looks out of date.“

“Great food and service each time we have gone there. Only complaint was got too cold in there, but it is much better now. I used to warn my family members to wear a sweater or jacket each time. But the last few times we went and it was much better. I would have something warm to throw on to be prepared either way.“

“I was the problem. Not them. And they still made it right!
On 1/2/2025 I, a weary traveler, stopped into this McDonalds. I had placed a mobile order so that my food would be ready when I got to the store.
Turns out, the food was ready before I was! Within literal minutes of me placing the order the food was ready!
The app told me my food was ready. I didn’t believe it… so I sat in the lobby, waiting for my food. Until after 10 minutes, they called my name. They let me know it had been ready, and that they would be replacing my fries since they had gone cold!
I was the reason the fries were cold. But they still replaced them. Thank you for being so kind and making my night!“
