very disappointed in this Christmas event. I drove a hour to see the lights with my daughter but the line was ridiculous long, you had to park outside of the park and walk in, there was no cops outside the park Directing traffic. sadly we couldn't get in because of had packed it was and it was very unsafe for the number of people that is there.
Really enjoyed spending time at the park. Plenty of shaded areas and paths to walk. Wished they had changing tables in the restrooms.
It is a large park with lots of space for everyone to enjoy the park. The bathrooms are very clean and everything is well kept. There are tons of Educational events and things throughout the park to enjoy. I highly recommend!

The Depot Café is a hidden gem inside Bonnet Springs Park. The perfect stop after a day at the Florida Children’s Museum or exploring the park. The vibe is relaxed and family‑friendly. The staff are super friendly and helpful even during the lunch rush. Inside seating is limited but outdoor seating is available, so families can sit inside with little ones or sit outside and watch kids run on the Family Lawn. The menu has many offerings. The buffalo chicken wrap is served cold, but the manager can make a chicken sandwich instead and it is excellent. The barbecue pork sandwich, the mac & cheese, and the macaroni and cheese are good and satisfying after a hike. The flatbread pizzas, sandwiches, salads, and handspun ice cream add variety. The house made chips and fries are great snacks. The cream‑filled sugar cookie and the cookies are amazing, especially the soft sweet next‑level treat. The kids meal is reasonably priced at $4.99 and comes with a small scoop of ice cream. Fruit cups are very good. All tables are cleaned promptly and a nice woman delivers made‑to‑order foods right to the tables. After eating, kids can enjoy the playgrounds, the tree house, the butterfly house, and the water area. The Depot Café is affordable, delicious and a great place to visit for any family spending a day in Bonnet Springs Park. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the views are beautiful.
