We went for lunch, four of us for the first time. Had the burnt ends as an appetizer, they were outstanding! I had the shrimp and grits, best I've had in Lakeland! The shrimp were perfect and even my bride liked the grits, and she doesn't eat grits!! I highly recommend! Everything on the table was amazing, friends had brisket and they said it was delicious!
I didn't even know this place existed until Tenoroc High School had a fundraiser for the football team. Kudos to the restaurant for hosting this & donating 15% for each order. I wish more had turned out for this. Maybe more came after me. We ordered the Taco Trio with Mac n' cheese & baked beans w/sausage, the Popcorn shrimp platter w/ hush puppies with Mac n' cheese, & the smokehouse salad w/ smoked chicken. The brisket was some of the best I've ever had. It was very tender and flavorful with the seasoning on the outside. The mac and cheese and hushpuppies were also delicious. Will be going back.
