“I went tonight with my husband and some friends. There was a hiccup with my and my husband’s meals and they came out well after everyone else’s. The manager (possibly the owner?) we didn’t say anything, the manager (?) was proactive and brought our meals, apologized, and made things right. I really appreciated him taking charge of the situation. Our group had been there before but it was my first time. Food and service were great. I would absolutely go back, actually I saw some dishes come out of the kitchen that I want to try now! My chicken Alfredo was delicious.“

“Thank you Skylar for be soooo patient and understanding with mine and my best friends crazy bunch. It was the first time in a looong time that we were able to get together and catch up and We had quite a rambunctious group of kiddos and my friend and I were probably in over our heads but Skylar was so sweet and kind to our kids. Her patience with them helped us feel like we weren’t a complete nuisance. They were already busy and then we added our group to the mix and the whole staff was just calm and helpful. Thanks for great service!! Even if the food was horrible(which it wasn’t it was wonderful) I would give this restaurant 5stars because of their kind staff!“

“I grew up on Cassano’s Pizza in Dayton, OH. We moved away when I was 14 and I’ve missed that delicious pizza ever since. Recently, someone mentioned that someone who had worked at Cassano’s had relocated to Lakeland, FL decades ago and opened J Burns Pizza Shop offering the same crispy thin crust pizza topped with provolone cheese. Our family made the drive from Kissimmee to Lakeland and are so glad we did! The pizza was incredible. Reminded me so much of the pizza back home in Dayton. We will be back often!“

“I had a late Dr. appointment yesterday so I was going to pick up a few little Cesar pizzas, my daughter suggested Romeo’s stuffed pizza. So we thought “why not we were going to have cardboard for dinner anyway, how bad can it be……….. where have you been all of my life?!?!?! Ok that’s a little dramatic, but I have been in Florida for 20 years (originally from Detroit suburbs ) and I have not found REAL pizza since I arrived! That pizza was soooooo good! You brought me back to my days working in the Italian bakery back home!!!! The staff- the food- hell even your customers were amazing! I will definitely be back for the cannoli!!!!“

“The staff were welcoming. My husband is from Brooklyn, NY and he rated their Ny style pizza an 8.5 out of 10. The cheese pull was insane. We ordered the large pie half pepperoni and half sausage. He does prefer the pepperoni over the sausage.“

“I don't know why there are so many questionable reviews here. I was on my way home late one night and nothing was open but Taco Bell and Hungry Howie so did what any red blood American would do...I got pizza. Also, it was a Wednesday and the pizza was on special. Man I was very impressed. First off the young lady at the window I think her name is Dani Lee I may be spelling that wrong but she was so sweet and kind and really made my first trip there great. My pizza hands down the best pizza I have had since moving to Florida. I don't know why the rating is so low but for me it's 5🌟. Trust me I have gotten a pizza here every week sometimes twice a week. Yeah it's that good.“

It's just worth my time to go there knowing my order will be right on several occasions she is corrected me because I ordered wrong because I was having a rough day and she knew what my regular was. I have tried other locations due to Covience and none have compared in cleanliness friendless and Order accuracy I come here knowing the store is clean and the staff is friendly.“

“I placed an online order & another customer accidentally took my order. Once this was quickly figured out, the manager on duty got all the employees attention & they all quickly worked together to remake my order. The Manager did a great job and handling this situation and ensuring that my order was made quickly on top of still making sure that the deliveries went out on time and the other customers walking in were still taken care of. They were definitely busy but everyone did a great job and handling the business, chaos of my order being taken and remade on the fly.“

“I order from this location quite often. Each time I’ve ordered, my order shows up correct, hot, and fresh. The delivery drivers have always been extremely nice as well. “I only give 4 stars, it's normally outstanding service and very friendly, but today a older lady was just very rude the whole time,

And the reason I'm making the review is because, I asked for parmesan and red pepper flakes, i got 2 of each, so I politely asked for a few more, and the lady very loudly grunted and said " are you kidding me" gave it to me and slammed the door.

And to my understanding there was 0 tension in the conversation, just her being rude.“

“The food is excellent and cooked per my instructions. The Memorial Blvd location in east Lakeland has great staff of employees. Last but by no means least a superb GM.“

“My family and I go in there at least once a week, if not more. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. Gas prices are competitive and if you get a rewards card, you get a discount on gas. I’ll drive past other stores just to go here.“

“Pizza was great lots of options for pizza by the slice also has a great menu of subs also. My favorite was the Chocolate Cannoli. The staff was fantastic service was great. The restaurant has a good crowd and everyone looked like they were enjoying the food. A definite must go back the next time that I am on the area.“

“We've only had one really bad interaction and that was a while back with a manager named Justin. He seemed to lack his people skills that day when we asked about the BOGO deal. We didn't let that keep us from gray pizza and have been back several times since. Thankfully no more interactions with that manager. ✌️“

He has an amazing attitude and was very accommodating by making some hot and fresh cheesy bites and happily made some without meat for me as well. Hard to find vegetarian options.
