“We were expecting it to be like the one near our house but it was not. It was small with no buffets just order in or take out. The young lady that took our order was very pleasant and sweet. Service was quick. The salads were fresh and filling and our sandwiches were hot and delicious. The dough was just awesome. If we lived closer we would have to come. here at least once a week if not more. We live almost 2 hrs away and stumbled on the franchise on our way home. SO GLAD WE DID !!! WELL DONE TO THE WHOLE CREW !!!!“

Today for lunch with friends we again were waiting a little bit, my friend went up to check and again was advised one of our friends pizza was waiting to be picked up so they brought it out and it was cold, then was advised mine & another pizza was burnt and they had to remake them, but we’re not notified and waiting while on our lunch break. I’ve just had such good experiences here so I know it can be better.“

“The staff were welcoming. My husband is from Brooklyn, NY and he rated their Ny style pizza an 8.5 out of 10. The cheese pull was insane. We ordered the large pie half pepperoni and half sausage. He does prefer the pepperoni over the sausage.“

“I can't believe I've waited twelve years to try this place. Sal's Pizza is indisputably the best pizza I've had in Polk county, and is in the top five of pizza places I've had nationwide. (I take my pizza seriously.) Their small calzone is large enough for two, I'm scared of how big the large might be. Their crust is out of this world, with flawless texture and "bite". Their sauce is clearly made with love, and their sweet tea is in fact Milo's, which makes my southern heart smile. If you haven't had it yet, you've got to check this place out.“

“We needed to get food the day after Hurricane Milton. We were still very shell shocked from it all. I couldn't believe how hard they were working and how positive they were. It was honestly what I needed after facing the damage we all went through. “We eat here a lot because it is one of the only things open late in winter haven. They always get it to us super fast, it’s even came in less than 20 minutes before and everything is always perfect, which we have not found to be common among other restaurants in the area. Thank you!“
