“Our first time. Chose, in part, because of proximity to Van Wezel. Loved the menu and drink variety. Waiter helped us with selections. Drinks were generous and tasty. Food was delicious! Full of flavor. Ambience is fine. We were early (5:30-7:00), so missed peak crowd. Overall, a very good experience. We will return and have already recommended.“
“Visited here with my friends today and we were greeted with Sarah as our server. She was absolutely wonderful and extremely attentive with us. She always made sure our drinks were filled and had an amazing personality. I will gladly be coming back here next time. Sarah truly gave us an experience of a lifetime.“
“My husband and I were visiting from Illinois and decided to try your restaurant. We were extremely happy with the food and service. Quinn was super nice and very knowledgeable about the menu. He deserves a raise!!!! Kathy & Robert Miller Peoria Il“
“Very friendly staff. Super busy/fun place, but excellent service and food came out quickly which was helpful for our toddler. The food was really good. We ordered peel and eat shrimp with old bay, street down dip, calico burger, fish tacos, grouper sandwich, steamed clams, and the Mac and cheese and chicken tender kids meals. Zero complaints from our table. Everything was so delicious. The live music was great.I think we waited 10-15 minutes for the table on a Monday night. We had tried to go on Sunday but the wait was 30+ which was too much for our hungry toddler. We really enjoyed this spot.“
“In plaza in downtown Palmetto next to Walmart. It is noisy but it is a sportsbar. Has games, darts, and pool. My husband and I usually sit at the bar and no matter how busy they get our service has always been superb! Food is delicious, and great selection of beer. Definitely do the garlic cheese curds! I like the burgers and Jaxx chicken sandwich as well. Reasonably priced for quality of food. I would prefer a leaf of lettuce rather than shredded but that is just my personal preference.Parking: depending on time of day or night parking can be a challenge but for the most part we always get a spot.Kid-friendliness: a few games for kids and it is loud so no worries bringing the kiddos“
“I fully expected bar food when I arrived. I ended up being amazed. I got blackened chicken "Mediterranean style" with artichokes and spinach with black beans and rice and roasted vegetables. I could only eat most of it. In fact, if I had room for dessert I would have just saved my leftovers for that course. Also, Amanda was efficient and engaging. But the amazing thing is that it is obviously a great atmosphere when someone like Chris, who's not even your server engages with you when they pass your table. All great people, but without great management, it's hard for even the best people to be this amazing doing such a high paced and stressful job.Kudos.“
“Had a wonderful lunch. As always, we had amazing, prompt, friendly service. Tamera was our server and she was attentive to our every need. My drink would be half full and she would bring me a new one. Food hit the spot. Would be a lot better if it was a buckeyes bar! But hey, it’ll do.“
“Surprisingly good old fashion. Great burger options and cobb bowl was tasty. Loved the fresh cut fries and the fried pickles with the jalapeno ranch. Great atmosphere to catch a game. Reasonably priced unlike most places here. Our server was super sweet and made great recommendations.“
“It's okay. Kinda like a step up from fast food. Nothing really noteworthy about the menu. One thing that was so weird....a robot brought our food to the table....yes, I said robot. The robot was rude....he said "take your food" (No please???) That means someone from the table has to stand up and serve all of the meals. It just keep getting closer and closer to fast food. You need a food runner.....seriously! #Weird“
“I love The Paddywagon and usually have a blast there. The drinks are awesome, the vibe is great, and it's been our spot for a weekly chill-out with my partner. But this Christmas Eve was a bummer. Forgot my ID, got turned away - fair enough. Then I hustled back with a new Lyft ride but got stopped again. This time, the guard didn’t dig my U.S. issued Mexican ID card. Apparently, they wanted something else or a passport. But seriously, who carries a passport for a pub hangout? It sucked not being able to join the Christmas vibe, but hey, not letting it ruin my night. Still, it was a letdown from my usual good times there.Hope they rethink their ID rules 'cause it's a buzzkill for regulars like me. Hoping for better luck next time. Happy New Year to The Paddywagon crew - hoping for smoother hangs ahead!“
“10 out of 10Food! The service, atmosphere, freshness and taste of the food is on the money! Prices aren't bad! If this could be picked and moved the beach that's the only thing I would change. Will be back, hopefully sooner than later.“
“We absolutely love FOOD+BEER SRQ Rosemary District. Dom the manager is absolutely awesome especially leading his staff to success! Kat by far is OUR favorite we specifically go and see her at least 2/3 times a week. Her energy is contagious she is a huge asset to this company 100%. If your looking for great food friendly servers and a fantastic atmosphere support our local friends here at FOOD+BEER! - Sarasota Salvage“
“Got the burger, BLT, chips with mango salsa and most importantly the sweet potato fries. DO NOT MISS THE SWEET POTATOE FRIES!! Best I've ever had. Server was Rose and she was the sweetest. A little noisy inside, so we enjoyed dining on the patio and it was an all around lovely experience!“
“This is miniature golf on steroids. Went there on spring break in Sarasota. Took my grandson who is 17 and his father and we all had a great time. You can pay one price and play all day. The line was long, but it moved along quickly. Don't be in a hurry. Just enjoy time with your family. It will make the golf so much more fun. I used to want to hurry up and get it done. I've learned to slow down in my old age.“
“Layout/atmosphere*Exterior of building looks like a red barn; horseshoe bar in center of room; nine TVs; internet jukebox; pool table; foosball table; golf arcade game; five seat window counter; smoking permitted; parking in front; tables outsideFood/drink*No food menu*Snack food (chips, pretzels)*“
“You know I have NOTHING bad to say about this jawn. We came in here looking to grab a "last"drink after leaving the Zac Brown concert in Tampa and this was in route (home). The bar keeps were friendly, had a good sense of humor and the drinks were good & cheap! They've got the Touchtunes jukebox so you can play DJ at your leasure, plenty of Pool tables and Dart games all around. It's definitely a dive, but one I'd go back to for sure! Did not have a chance to try the food, but heard it was good.Parking: The parking lot infront of the bar is rather small, but we parked in the lot right next to it (attached almost) and it was fine, there may be parking around back as well, so it shouldn't be a problem“
“Geckos is always our place to go for a quick, casual meal. The service is terrific and the menu is extensive. The food quality is very very good. I love their burgers and their tuna poke bowl. They have great salads and pasta and tacos and quesadillas. Their fish sandwiches are good too. My husband loves their tuna crunch wrap. It's a big portion and we sometimes share it.The restaurant is always busy but we rarely have to wait for a table more than 10 minutes. Geckos is a sports bar and they have TVs everywhere.Give it a try!“
“Four of us sat on the patio facing the parking lot. 4:30 pm - busier as time passed, but seats were available. Comfortable seating, nice to have the open air setting. Service was great, personable and fast. Food was served relatively quickly based on how busy they were. I had a blackened Mahi sandwich. It was delicious, but not very blackened (only negative). Bottomless nachos and salsa were delicious as well, chips not very salty which is an added bonus. My wife had the rice bowl with chicken and she enjoyed it. Overall a nice option for a casual dinner with friends. Reasonably priced for the quality ($30 pp incl tip). Lots of sports selections on various televisions.Dietary restrictions: Low salt healthy options“
“Visited for St Patrick's Day. They handled the crowd very well and with good humor. It's a small pub and most people stayed outside in the parking lot or in back. Nobody got rowdy and the atmosphere was fun. They provided a limited menu of corned beef sandwiches and Reuben sandwiches plus a kid's menu. They had music, including an excellent piper. Shamrock is a soccer-focused pub and is probably Ground Zero for big tournaments. My only suggestion would be to have plastic bags on hand for those of us who did carryout (five sandwiches + chips). The sandwiches were very tasty!“
“I like this place! I go to Gecko in different locations and I like the atmosphere and the service. I was happy to have Peter assisting us. Attentive, professional, dedicated! This time I chose a margherita flatbread, well done, yummy, the dough a little drier than my preference, but it didn't take away from the overall flavor. Congratulations to the Geckos’ team who try to maintain the standard of the restaurants.Parking: Parking exclusively for customers“
“Was visiting from out of town when we stumbled into this establishment. The bartenders and patrons were very friendly. I had inquired about a specialty drink (Surfer on Acid) and instead of brushing me off, they took the time to look up the recipe and delivered on my request. Thanks for the hospitality!“
“The food was amazing! We stopped here for lunch before noon on a Monday in March. We had a part of four and ordered the Bottomless Chips & Salsa with Beer Cheese. They hit the spot and we ended up getting a second round (for free, since it’s bottomless). The beer cheese really makes it special and was delicious.Everyone ordered something different for lunch. I ordered the Chop (salad) and really liked it. It had real bacon and the ranch dressing tasted awesome. My husband ordered the Triple Decker Turkey, my son got the Buffalo Chicken sandwich and my daughter got the Classic Burger. See photos. Everyone loved their meal. The fries were great! We really wanted to eat outside (honestly that never happens, but here the weather was beautiful). But, it was really windy and the sign outside blew over and it was just too windy for us, so we moved inside. The outside seating is plentiful and has a nice view.I counted tried to count the number of televisions, I got 15 but that might not be accurate. They have a lot of TV’s.This place had a great vibe.As far as service, we had to flag down the waitress a couple times, since she didn’t stop by and ask if we wanted more chips/salsa (you could see the beer cheese was gone and salsa was almost empty) and when we were ready for the check. I’d recommend letting the wait staff know that they should check back in more often. The place only had a few tables filled so it wasn’t super busy.We don’t live in Florida, but would definitely go back to this restaurant next time we visit and highly recommend. This restaurant is in a great location within Lakewood Ranch in the Main Street area.Parking: There are a few parking spots right out front or there is a parking lot that is walkable that has plenty of parking.“
