“My husband and I wanted to try a new Sushi spot so we landed here. We couldn’t have been more happier that we did. We did the all you can eat ordered fresh each time from the menu. We tried several rolls and ate so much sashimi. It was all delicious! We also loved their salad buffet w/kani salad being my favorite and my husband loved the squid salad. And don’t forget the desserts. Fried bananas in honey for him and fried cheesecake for me. Besides the food being amazing we had the pleasure of Tani (like the color that nobody knows is a color lol, her words) being our server. Great personality and just completely on top of it!! If you go there we recommend her 100%. Can’t wait till we go back again!! Thank you 😊 10 ⭐️!“

“We were extremely spoiled in our original location as there was an all you can eat sushi restaurant that had quality searching. After scouring Tampa for an AYCE, we found the sushi quality was pretty terrible at these venues. So we knew we needed to find a more traditional sushi Avenue.
Bonsai sushi is right up the road from our New Tampa apartment complex. We first checked it out the fall of 2022. We were very pleased with the option for sushi as well as the quality. While it was a pay by roll option, we felt the prices were reasonable. We have both dined in at the establishment, which is great, often very quick, and relatively clean (though very cramped), as well as ordering out and we've always received quality sushi and fast service no matter the option. We are very glad to have patronized Bonsai and are not looking forward to finding a new place when we move states soon!“

“Took my wife and my Son to eat there and they gave us the worst waiter possible after we got our food we must have seen him about once for a refill and nothing else up until when we were ready to leave. Other than that the food is outstanding you guys should give it a try and cross your fingers you don't get the way that we had“

“I visited Tutti Frutti Cafe and Dina was such a wonderful hostess she explained all of the drinks and specials to me. She had such a bright spirit and really made my experience great. My drink was so good. I will definitely be coming back here“

“If I could give them a zero I would. My friend went there today and she was refused service because she has a skin disease called psoriasis. Shame on you all. You need to get educated the disease is not contagious I hope you and your ignorant staff learn some manners.“

“I got the scallops entree with veggies and brown rice. It was made very well and had tons of flavor. The entree came with a “salad” that consisted of hard, yellow chunks of iceberg lettuce hearts. You shouldn’t disrespect your customers, like that. You could’ve left that part out because it screams cheap and mediocre. Elevate or just don’t serve it with your opinion of a salad. Thanks.“

“In an attempt to have a relaxing lunch before our long drive home, we stumbled upon this Hibachi grill and sushi place. The food was good, though not the best hibachi I’ve ever had. The all-you-can-eat menu was a bit confusing. It seemed that if one person ordered it, everyone had to as well. I didn’t like that because I wasn’t in the mood for it, though the person I was with might have preferred it since it was only $3 more for his meal and appetite. Still, that didn’t ruin our experience; it was a good value for what we received. Perhaps on a different occasion, the endless food option would have been more appealing. There were a few highlights—the mushroom soup was delicious and easily the best thing on the menu, making up for the slightly overcooked shrimp. Overall, it was a good lunch, but if you’re looking for the best, this place isn’t it!“

“We got seated and chef thought it was funny to bark like a dog while chopping up the meat. I was so discussed. I have been to Asia and saw the dogs hanging in the market it was awful and I have 3 Chinese children. I spoke to Manager who seemed to blow me off like eating dog is normal. Do you serve dog? Hope not remember this is American. My family left I could not eat after that and it’s not funny to pretend to be chopping up a dog.“

“We wanted to try a new Japanese Restaurant and decided to start here. The area was very clean and welcoming. The hostess greeted and sat us. The booth where we sat was very cozy and private. Our drink order was taken, then we ordered appetizers. We had edamame and spring rolls. Both were very good! Then we ordered 3 different sashimi’s and maguro. The waitress was very kind and attentive. We loved it and will be back!“
