Monika's European Kitchen Reviews
Great cuisine with wonderful visual presentation. The service was great. The owner & chef, Monika, came to our table to introduce herself. The coffee was freshly brewed and, as a barista, I know great tasting coffee; the coffee I had at Monika's was superb. Give this restaurant a try.. you won't be disappointed especially if you love authentic German and Hungarian, etc., cuisine. If I could give them six stars, I would.
Phenomenal dinner from beginning to end! We didn't have reservations but Chad got us a table for 2 at the last minute and we appreciated it so much. Both he and Monika were incredibly friendly and took the time to speak with us, explain the menu for Oktoberfest and some background of how he and Monika met.
The atmosphere is absolutely charming and the woodwork makes it so warm and inviting.
The service is exceptional and prompt as each dish came out without any long lulls.

Monika's European Kitchen offers great cuisine with wonderful visual presentation and great service. The owner and chef came to the table to introduce herself, and the coffee is freshly brewed and superb. The atmosphere is absolutely charming, with woodwork that makes it warm and inviting. The service is exceptional and prompt, with each dish coming out without any long lulls. The food tastes like what you would have from your Hungarian grandmother, with flavors reminiscent of home cooked Hungarian spices. The Goulash was the star of the evening. The Beer Cheese and pretzels were delicious, and the addition of onions on top made it even more delectable. The Schweinhaxe, which is the slow cooked pork shank, was mind blowing—savory, fall off the bone, with a slight crisp to the skin. The Rouladen was flavorful and tender, and the Black Forest Cake was a decadent end to the evening. The hunter schnitzel is recommended, and the apple strudel was amazing. Everything is homemade, fresh, and full of authentic German and Hungarian flavor. The staff and owners are sweet and welcoming. Reservations are recommended.
