“Thoroughly enjoyed eating here. Service was great, welcoming. I had the oxtail mini, rice/peas steamed cabbage and a side of stew peas. Oxtail fall off the bone tender, very well seasoned and cooked, cabbage good, stew peas delicious, and for good measure I took a large chicken soup that is equally delicious for my meal tonight. I highly recommend this place if craving some Jamaican food.“

“My family and I love trying new flavors from different places, so we decided to try this little place called: which is located on W. Commercial Blvd. and 441st Street in a large shopping plaza. The place is small, simple, but with an incredible flavor, WOW! We ordered a Brown Stew Chicken which had an incredible flavor, and you can't help but admire the prices😳 They don't even exist in a Chinese restaurant, no wonder there are lines of people buying their food at this place; that's why my husband and I have come to the conclusion: it's useless if the place has spectacular or extraordinary decor, if what will convince you is the flavor of their dishes. “I went here hearing about it from social media IG. It's located right off the highway the service here was excellent. The food was seasoned well & flavorful. I had the jerk pork with festival and my wife had the combo of chicken pork rice and peas and Mac and cheese and I must portions were beyond generous for the price. “My family and I traveled to Miami for a mini vacation, we went to Ft. Lauderdale to visit and found this amazing restaurant. It’s call the “Peoples Choice” and it has amazing Jamaican cuisine. It’s a must to visit! When we visit again from Indianapolis, Indiana, we will definitely be back for an awesome meal. The owners we great people!“

“Small Jamaican eatery. What they lack in size is made up in taste, presentation and smiles.
The food is authentically Jamaican. It’s a take out affair served it a heart of love. Fried chicken to die for….. curry chicken is on point. So much to choose from, on the week end look out for Diana service with a smile. The chef is boss!!! Mid Maxine and the crew representing well!!! Careful you miss it , drive slowly after crossing Atlantic, heading south on SR7. Happy eating!!!“

“I stopped going about a year or two ago due to the drop in the quality of food. I decided to check them out again, because someone said it was under new management. I was greeted, but it could have been better. Upon asking about the food, it was like pulling teeth. Could have explained the menu and help with the options and get me a bit more interested in what they offered. Then, when she started to explain, she was flying through everything and I could barely hear her. The bottom line is, amp up the customer service and be a bit more friendly and welcoming. On the other hand, I purchased the curry chicken, peas n rice, and cabbage. Got home and saw that I had a plate full of rice and cabbage, no plantains(at least 2 small pieces) 1drumstick cut in half, half of a half of thigh and a small bone or two that was chopped up when they cut the chicken. That pissed me off, because $10.42 at least let me get a whole chicken leg quarter, two legs or something, is all I'm saying.“
