Ms Chelly's is the friendliest person you will ever meet. I am used to high end places and almost didn't go Inside when I saw the place, but never judge a book by its cover! “I have to say, I am highly impressed with 876 Cafe. I was lucky to have sampled their food from an event they catered. My entire table enjoyed the food and we inquired of the hostess, who catered the food. She told us, 876 Cafe. I made a mental note to go there in the near future. Well, I got hubby to drive me from Cooper City to Sunrise. When we arrived, we noted the place was very clean. The hostess greeted us with a smile (very important). She further went out of her way to accommodate me, in my desire for a fish, even though I did not pre-order. We both had the goat head soup, yumm! I ordered the brown stew fish, amazing! My hubby ordered the fried chicken, amazing! We dined in and were served in true restaurant style. We were lucky enough the meet the chef and thank her for such a wonderful experience. Needless to say, we will be going back. 876 Cafe, thank you for your above and beyond service!“
“There is a counter with stools if you want to sit but I takeout all the time. The food is very good. So is the service. I love the stew peas and rice and just about everything else I’ve eaten there…including the jerk pork. I have to admit I like that it’s mostly undiscovered at this time because I get in and out quickly. No lines. But I hope that they will increase in popularity so they can remain in business.Parking: Usually there no issue with parking although there are quite a few businesses at that location.“
“I stopped going about a year or two ago due to the drop in the quality of food. I decided to check them out again, because someone said it was under new management. I was greeted, but it could have been better. Upon asking about the food, it was like pulling teeth. Could have explained the menu and help with the options and get me a bit more interested in what they offered. Then, when she started to explain, she was flying through everything and I could barely hear her. The bottom line is, amp up the customer service and be a bit more friendly and welcoming. On the other hand, I purchased the curry chicken, peas n rice, and cabbage. Got home and saw that I had a plate full of rice and cabbage, no plantains(at least 2 small pieces) 1drumstick cut in half, half of a half of thigh and a small bone or two that was chopped up when they cut the chicken. That pissed me off, because $10.42 at least let me get a whole chicken leg quarter, two legs or something, is all I'm saying.“
“What a sweet and pleasant place!Simone has excellent customer service! How refreshing to visit an establishment and want to come again without even sampling the food!I came in for breakfast after grabbing a coffee but I ended up getting the Brown Stew chicken with Rice and Peas and it was so delicious and filling.Definitely a must try if you are in the area.“
