“Pretty good. The service was engaging despite the lunch rush and the food was outstanding. I ordered yuca, maduro, oxtail and rice and peas. I can’t recommend the oxtail. It was primarily fat and a little tough but everything else was extraordinary and I’d definitely return for some of the other menu items and of course the sauces! ?“

“Absolutely amazing! I’m vegan but as a person from the Caribbean you always looking for that down home cooking and flavor. This definitely hit the spot! My only regret is I didn’t take any pictures before eating. Had the tofu curry and bought two other meals to go! Highly recommend!

“Mi Yard is hands-down Miami’s best spot for authentic casual Jamaican food. My family went before seeing Taylor Swift at Hard Rock stadium. What a gem so close to the stadium! The jerk chicken is spicy, smoky perfection, and the oxtail stew was delicious . The vibe is relaxed, and the staff is real and genuinely really sweet. They came out from behind the register and played Jenga with my daughters. Fair warning: you’ll leave fuller, happier, and probably craving more. Definitely worth a visit!“

“I forgot my lunch at home today so I looked on Uber to see what was in the area. I saw Island Tings and decided to give it a try. By far the BEST curry chicken I have tried. Nice and spicy. Plus they gave me a good portion of food. I am pleased with this first experience and will definitely support more in the future!“

“Just left Maam’s soooo satisfied. Don’t let the dated exterior/interior fool you. The food was amazing. Customer service was excellent. The food area was immaculate. I’d been craving oxtail after so many posts on TikTok and found Maam’s on google. The gentleman that took our order and served us was so nice and welcoming. He was patient with questions and let us taste 3 types of the chicken as we’ve never been there and caught on that my son had a sensitive stomach. The oxtail and the gravy was so tender and delicious as well as the jerk chicken was bursting with wonderful flavors. I got the Jamaican rice w peas and he poured the oxtail gravy all over it. I can eat that all by itself, that rice is very special. Huge portions also, I could not finish the plate. The cabbage salad that they serve w the plate was super fresh and crisp with the light sweet/sour flavor of whatever they use for dressing. Kinda rice wine vinegar vibes. I’m so happy we went and I’m sure I’ll be back before the week ends. Loved everything we tried ?“

“Had escovitch fish with steam veggies, rice and peas and fried plantain. And of course my fried dumplings. This is the only Jamaican restaurant I know of in the South Florida area that still sells 3 fried dumplings for less than $2. My dinner was plenty enough for 2 meals. The lady who served me was very pleasant which is very unusual for a Jamaican server to be smiling and so polite.

“I went here as an alternative to the awful Dutch pot across the road and it was night and day, although not 5 start the atmosphere here was way better, the service was way better and the food was more than acceptable. I would eat here again.“

“The young gentleman at my hotel front desk recommended this place, as I was looking for Jamaican food near by. I was pleasantly surprised at food this good coming from a mall food court. I took my order to go, as the mall dining area itself isn't so great. I ordered the oxtails, peas & rice, cabbage and plantains. My only complaint is I feel like I mostly paid for bones and fat, as the oxtail meat was not very plentiful for the cost; however, the flavor of everything and other portion sizes were very giving. I would definitely give it another try but would probably try the goat curry or jerk chicken instead. Customer service was ok. ♥️“

“This was my second time going to Ginger Bay and my experience was much better. The first time I went was during Covid n it wasn’t that great. Our waitress was pleasant, helpful and ensured we had a good time.The food was tasty omgeee it was delicious. Pretty much every one got the fish that was brown stew, fried and I had the steamed fish which was well seasoned and cooked. I had it with rice and peas with veggies but the festivals were also a hit. Now the food was pretty damn good but the highlight of the night was the music! By 9/10pm the place was ram packed and boy were we jamming. The music selections were great and bc the singer/live band was out of this world. He sang oldies but goodies, he was clear to understand, no cussing amazing voice and he gave my friend a birthday shoutout. Thank you. ?? Glad I came back for another good time.“

“Jamaica house is by far one of the best Caribbean restaurants in the area especially to be open 24/7 in south Florida. I’m from NY so I know. The owner and the workers are hard working and the food is always fresh. I love the gungo peas and rice. The oxtail is delish, j*** pork always on point and the fresh juices are always A1 with me.
