“I just celebrated my birthday with 3 of my friends at Epazote. The food was incredible we left so full! The staff were all friendly, kind and patient! The restaurant is small but it gave such a cozy warm vibe that I loved it! We had the Taquiza (assorted taco platter) as an appetizer and it was so much food! We also had guacamole and the Queso Fundido (OMG gooey delicious cheese!) Even though we barely had room for anything else, we also ordered main dishes that we knew we’d have take home. The Pescado Frito (grilled whole snapper) was phenomenal. The fajitas came out sizzling and steaming. The Quesabirrias were so flavorful and the consume is to die for. You can tell they use fresh homemade ingredients and infuse everything with love and passion. I can’t wait to come back for Taco Tuesday snd Margarita Monday!“

“Was looking forward to the Ceviche I had on our first night on vacation. I came back to have the Ceviche again a few days later since I loved it so much and the Ceviche was completely different. All shrimp…. Did not even taste like Ceviche. Was sooo disappointed. I wish they would have told us before we ordered or I would have gotten something else instead. Let your customers know if the menu changes. I walked through high winds and rain to come back to this restaurant before flying back home.“

“⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – CT Cantina & Taqueria (Dania Pointe, Dania Beach, FL)

I recently visited CT Cantina at Dania Pointe and overall it was a really enjoyable experience. The atmosphere was vibrant and fun—the vibe and music on Friday night were energetic (a bit loud, but part of the lively ambiance). Service was spot-on: fast, attentive, and our drinks were refilled promptly without having to ask.

What stood out:

The salsa game is strong—super flavorful and authentic. The only downside: the bright red overhead lights made it impossible to distinguish which salsa was which, since they all looked red.

Fresh chips and multiple dips were a treat—though I found them slightly oily, they still had great crunch and taste.

Tacos were solid but had some quirks: the flour tortillas were surprisingly thick, and they shrunk in size compared to past visits. The chicken felt a touch too salty and a bit dry. Still, flavors were enjoyable overall.

On the downside, there was no dessert station anymore—apparently your favorite dessert has been removed. That was a bummer, especially since you used to love it.

Summary:
CT Cantina & Taqueria delivers great ambiance, helpful staff, fast service, and excellent salsas and chips. While the tortilla texture and smaller portions with slightly salty chicken dragged the experience down a bit—and losing the dessert option was disappointing—it’s still worth a visit. Hoping they bring back that dessert station soon!

“The food at El Guanaco is the best hands down. I refer people all the time for food . We have been going a few years but not much the last few months due to the service. Sometimes you can put up with mediocre service because the food is so good . But today was the second time service was subpar… Today we waited 20 minutes and still no order taken ….There was another table with no beverages that was sat before us . We decided to leave and offered to pay for the beverages and chips but they would not let us pay . The cashier said she could take our order but we already had waited and decided it was best to just go ahead and leave …On the way out there were 3 vacant tables inside ….If we eat El Guanico in the future we will order to go because the service is just not there anymore. The food is the best but not going back anytime soon to dine in …Food 5 ⭐️ service 3⭐️…..“

It is now my standing reservation where in my way to my second job in Monday’s Tuesdays I will stop by and order the chicken soft shell tacos. I just went yesterday and it is STILL exactly the same deliciousness I always get carne asada it comes with cheese enchilada, rice, beans, and guacamole and sour cream. I always switch the yellow rice and black beans to white rice and cheesy refried beans. They are fast to serve the food and never have I ever anything but perfect service. “Worst Service Ever! Read the Fine Print.. When I was informed that My "Happy Hour" margaritas were suddenly Double Priced because I didn't order any entrees.. Marie the MOD who claimed to be an Owner/ Family member told us "is this your first time here?" stating I had been here several times. Marie then replied "Then you should know The rules" and began to berate the poor waitress right there at the table about not informing us of this rules! I was not only so embarrassed for the poor waitress but embarrassed for Miss Marie who claims to be an owner! I've been in the hospitality industry for years and have never in my life seen such behavior by a well known establishment. I paid my check and tipped the poor waitress well. after leaving I then went back and apologized again to the poor waitress for her manager/owners behavior. if corporate reads this, there's a coaching opportunity for Miss Marie. she should not be in management. to stand at a customers table in the middle of a crowded dining room and argue insisting that the customers are wrong and should know the rules is unacceptable! I don't mind playing by the rules but I need to know what they are first. I have visited La Bamba on several occasions over my years in Fort Lauderdale. that will end immediately!! I will never again visit or recommend La Bamba to anyone. consumer Beware $50.00 for 4 6oz well Margaritas is a crime within itself. you have several locations and have been successful maybe it's time you check yourself and remember where you came from. sincerely disgusted by La Bamba and it's supposed owner!“
