“Went at a time, around 1PM on a Saturday. The line was not long so was served quickly. It took less than 5 minutes from the time I placed my order until it was delivered to me. The servers were courteous and served with a smile. The only draw back that day, I tried ordering on line, but the website was down.“

“The atmosphere takes me back home. The service is impeccable and the food is superb. When you go there, they know who you are and that makes a difference. I have to say it is the best authentic Jamaican food in Broward County and I venture to say South Florida.“
“These guys were so awesome. Jean, chen, Lorenzo, and the other young Guy showed great customer service. I could tell the food was going to be good by how long the line was and it did not disappoint. I had the j*** chicken rice and peas with plantains. Definitely will be back for the wings!“

“Our goat (cabrit) and chicken (poulet) en sauce were plentiful and very good.. tender, not too greasy (vs. many Haitian stews that have a thick layer of fat on top), and well-seasoned. The one customer-facing employee was professional re: service; however, he played his phone on speaker while he scrolled through his feed of various videos (some political, some profane) very loudly the whole time we were there.“

“This restaurant is a hidden gem! The food is incredible — perfectly seasoned, cooked to perfection, and bursting with authentic Haitian flavor. The snapper was huge, meaty, and seasoned in every nook and cranny. The griot? Fried to crispy perfection with just the right amount of tenderness — not too fatty at all. And the rice? Aromatic, rich, and full of flavor. Every bite felt like a celebration.
The atmosphere is lively and welcoming, with a great selection of music that added to the overall vibe. Whether you're grabbing takeout or sitting down for a full lunch or dinner, this place delivers. The service was top-notch — friendly, attentive, and fast.

“First time going to yellowtail Jamaican restaurant pass it almost everyday going home so I my daughter want something to eat so she say I should get her some food from yellowtail so I get her curry chicken and white rice and she love the food.“

“I stopped by for breakfast, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Sonia was absolutely amazing! She was warm, welcoming, and took the time to walk me through the breakfast menu, explaining the different dishes and making great recommendations.
The ackee and saltfish was cooked to perfection—fresh, flavorful, and seasoned just right. You can tell it was made with care and authenticity. And the hominy porridge? Let's just say it's not for the faint of heart! It's rich, hearty, and packed with traditional flavor. If you're familiar with authentic Jamaican breakfasts, you'll definitely appreciate it.
Between the exceptional customer service and the delicious food, this place earned every one of these five stars. I'll definitely be back to try more of the menu!“
