“Really fun place. Located in the corner of a road in this nice space decorated very tastefully, feels like you entered a whole sperate world. The restaurant is interesting with basically only outdoor seating. We sat down. The Fifa game was playing, and it was nice, but way way way too loud. I couldn't hear my wife or myself thinking. The server took quite a while to come. I ordered appetizers right away (empanadas) and drinks. The drinks took about 5-10 minutes. After about 20-30 minutes they told us one of the empanadas was out and asked if we wanted a substitute. We said no. Then ordered the main. Which took about another 20-30 minutes. The appetizer eventually came , but with the main course (after almost an hour from when we ordered it, making it useless). They also did not provide any kind of free chips or the like while we waited for the hour. Either way, we got the order. I got the Birria Enchiladas, it was tasty, loaded with meat, and had a side of rice and beans. The birria meat was a little dry tho. Also it lacked any kind of cream on the top, and they were stingy with the toppings like the cheese. Still good. My wife got the birria burrito, also loaded with meat, but could've used more cheese and sauce or something. But it was tasty. It took forever to get out to get out server to come back for us to pay. Overall the service could be better. The food is great but needs improvement. Loved the vibe, but they played the TV way too loud. I would return tho as it's a good place overall.“

“Our new favorite place Can't believe we have been sleeping on this place since it's literally down the street from my house. Punkys Tacos is an absolute vibe and the food is fire. 🔥 We are already planning what we are getting next time Our server Julie was great with suggestions of favorites especially since it was our first time. Queso dip and Chips - the addition of chorizo was a nice twist that jazzed this classic up Cheetodilla - I cant even put into words this quesadilla with a hot cheeto twist. My daughter ❤️ loved it Fish tacos - perfectly crunchy Mahi with Pink corn shells .. Pink !!!!! The atmosphere of the place was enjoyable with music 🎶 and table settings that gave it a homey feel. The lower end items, tacos and quesadilla are ok... (I am from LA. So I know Mexican food).
So don't let that stop you from going there. They excel at the main dishes! I had the TAMPIQUENA - a grilled steak dish and it was like Wow!! So be adventurous and try a new main dish.“

None of my friends could make it, so I came solo and honestly I’m really glad I did 😊. I didn’t even read the reviews beforehand, which I should have because they would’ve made my decision even easier. This place is super cute ✨ and has so much potential. I was there from about 7 PM to 10PM and it wasn’t very busy, which surprised me because the food was delicious 🤤. I sat right by the kitchen and couldn’t stop watching all the great looking dishes coming out 🍽️. I did the all you can eat tacos 🌮 and loved every bite. I tried the beef, chicken, and vegetarian tacos. The vegetarian comes with guacamole 🥑, so I mixed and matched a bit to make sure every taco had some guac. No regrets 😄. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive 💛, constantly refilling my water. The DJ was excellent 🎶, playing a fun mix of 90s hits and Spanish music, and when no one was singing karaoke, the music kept the vibe going. He also did a great job encouraging people to get up and sing 🎤. Another thing I loved was the big screen TVs everywhere 📺, so you can see the game no matter where you’re sitting. While I was there, the Miami Heat were absolutely dominating the Detroit Pistons 😂, which made it even more fun. I asked why it wasn’t busier, and they mentioned that Tuesdays are currently their best night. Honestly, I think this place is seriously underrated ⭐ and deserves way more attention than it’s getting. Even though I came by myself, it was the perfect spot to relax, enjoy the AC ❄️, eat unlimited tacos 🌮, and listen to karaoke 🎶.
