“Absolutely phenomenal! This has got to be the BEST pizza I’ve had in ages. We stumbled upon this gem and completely fell in love. The menu may be short, but they excel in every single thing they serve—and I’d argue they do it better than anyone else out there. We kicked things off with the Burrata with white truffle oil and Prosciutto, and it was beyond delicious—a perfect start. Then came the pizzas: the Meat Lovers and Star Luca. Unreal! Every bite was bursting with flavor, and it’s hard to believe that each pizza could be as exceptional as the last. And just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, we ended the meal with the Nutella Pizza with Bananas. How is it even possible for every single item to be this amazing? But it’s not just the food; the atmosphere and staff elevate the experience to a whole new level. Katherine, our server, was outstanding. She made us feel completely at home and had spot-on recommendations for everything. We even got to meet Marco, who may be the owner or GM, and either way, he’s clearly got a gift for running an extraordinary establishment. This place has officially won us over—we’re not just fans; we’re now loyal customers for life!“

“Get to Cafe Paisano immediately! My wife, daughter, and I found Cafe Paisano while we were staying in Longwood on vacation. I had already eaten, they got some takeout, and when I tasted the food, I knew we would be headed back before we left. Cafe Paisano is a smaller, cute place with indoor and outdoor seating. We brought 12 people and they were happy to accommodate us in no time. Our group ordered a variety of entrees and EVERYONE loved their meal. Pizza, lasagna, pasta, everyone was happy and the portions were large. Our server was a young lady, but she was amazing! She handled our large, rowdy group very well with the skill of someone who had been serving for decades. She is probably the best server I have ever had. Upon arriving and before leaving I spoke briefly with the owner and he makes you feel right at home. Living close to New Orleans, it's hard to find a restaurant that will beat our favorite places in the city, but this little spot right here is an absolute hidden gem. Whenever I am in Orlando I will be stopping in to dine with these great people. Longwood is lucky to have them.“

“The chicken quesadilla was excellent. The chef clearly proud of his food. “These are the best quesadilla in town” he said. He’s 100% correct. I don’t usually like refried beans but these were really good. Same with the rice. The hot sauces are made in house. You can taste the freshness of the ingredients. The chicken was fresh abs tender. it’s more of a take out place but there are a few tables. I’ll be back….often.“

“I have been craving chicken piccata, but too lazy to make it. I ordered directly through them for delivery and it arrived piping hot and perfect. I got it with added mushrooms and extra sauce and a side of the antipasto salad. It also came with garlic knots. The sauce was exactly how I wanted it. And the salad had the perfect amount of toppings and dressing. I called the order in and the woman that answered the phone was polite and helpful- as was the person who delivered it. I will definitely be visiting the restaurant in person, but can’t imagine it tasting better than it did delivered.“

“This is my absolute new favorite if you are anywhere near Lake Mary or the Orlando area. We ordered three appetizers. Had wine and cocktails and everything was delectable. The service was beyond amazing and the staff made us feel like family. I am usually extremely picky and always find at least one fault….i could not find one and this place. “Sue and I have not been to this place since they converted to sit-down and order. Finally joining the real restaurant world. We have eaten here about 20 times in the last few years and have always enjoyed the food, but felt strange with the get-your-own-drink aspect of it. Anyways, we are seated at our favorite booth, Perry Como, Elvis, Dean Martin, and Sinatra (the usual suspects) crooning at a comfortable level, with decent speakers. Oscar greeted us and took our drinks order, leaving a couple of rather impressive menus with us. We spent some time looking at the menu, as the format has changed somewhat. I ordered the shrimp marsala on linguine, Sue ordered the same on some other pasta noodle (You choose). After a reasonable interval, our food arrived. 2 huge bowls of deliciousness thick enough that it could have been called a stew. Lrt me tell you, I've been to restaurants that the orders contained little meat, little mushrooms, and a LOT of broth. Not here! These bowls were crammed with a ton of food. Shrimp, portobella mushrooms and pasta that was not overcooked. I gotta tell you, Sue and I dine out a LOT...various venues all over WG/Ocoee/Windermere/Clermont. This was probably the finest meal I ever had. The improvements the restaurant made are A+ Definitely worth dropping a hundy on.“

“DINNER REVIEW: ANTHONY’S THORNTON PARK PIZZERIA 100 N. Summerlin, Orlando For my first meal in a restaurant after moving back to Orlando, I happily chose Anthony’s Pizzeria in Thornton Park, at the heart of downtown Orlando, which means you can eat your delicious meal and then walk around Lake Eola to cancel those calories. When I first moved to Florida in the 1990s, I went downtown looking for a hole-in-the-wall video rental store called Angel Heart, which reputedly rented John Waters movies which weren’t available anywhere else. The bad news when i arrived was that Angel Heart was having a going-out-of-business sale; the good news was that I bought their John Waters VHS collection for less then ten dollars. As I walked back to my car, I saw a pizza place on the corner of Washington & Summerlin, and it soon became my go-to restaurant in Orlando. All these years later, Anthony’s has grown into a large and beautiful place—though I still like dining on the street side patio, and I still order my mushroom Stromboli even though the expansive menu offers a full range of Italian dinners and of course their outstanding pizza. This time I treated myself to a caprese salad Anthony’s has one of the best physical locations in the city—walkable to all of the major attractions downtown, yet still having a quiet neighborhood feeling and even having its own free parking lot, which is rare these days in the city beautiful. The food meets my exasperatingly snobby northern expectations of what Italian food should taste like, and the service is excellent. I recommend Anthony’s to everyone everywhere always.“
