“I'm from NY and very picky when it comes to Chinese's food. They make authentic NY style Chinese's Food! My favorite is their Chicken with Garlic Sauce and the Pan Fried Wontons with garlic sauce. Their prices are great and big portions. I usually get 2 meals what ever I order. My second favorite is General Tsos Chicken! Tasty with the Right amount of spice. I do suggest calling your order to pick up, as they are always busy, especially on the weekends.“

“This place is great, I’m not sure what the other reviews are talking about. My friend recommended me this place because he said that you can basically get two full meals for $8 and he was not lying at all. The lunch special is an incredible value and it tastes delicious. I ordered the chicken and mixed vegetables w/ chicken fried rice & wonton soup and it was probably the best Chinese takeout I’ve ever had. It was annoyingly fresh, I had to wait for it to cool down after my 15 minute car ride. The sauce was sweet & salty and overall pretty darn great. I got three massive wontons in my small thing of soup. The lady at the front who answers the phone is really sweet and you can see the entire kitchen from the front, they’re not hiding anything. All the chefs seemed professional & were wearing sanitary things. FYI: call in your order instead of placing it online cause they charge a $1 surcharge for an online order and they don’t if you just call. 100% recommend this place, the people leaving bad reviews probably were one off experiences. I will say that my food tasted a bit like plastic in some spots, but I’m certain that’s from the styrofoam container & not the actual food itself. Maybe they can switch to a paper box in the future?“

It's Mid August 2024, and I have to give this Apopka Panda location a thumb up. Lunch to Dinner it's been very good. I recommend if you want a great family dinner, choose this place. Or you can go out to any restaurant and sit down and pay extra for tips. Choose this place if you want a delicious bang for your buck.

Don’t even ask me WHY in the 3 years since moving, why we’ve never tried this place, but we ordered takeout yesterday and it was so YUMMY. We got the sesame chicken, chicken fried rice, shrimp chow mein, krab rangoons, egg rolls and we were NOT disappointed. This has to be the only place that the chicken actually tastes like chicken! The sauce for the sesame was so good ? & the noodles tasted almost like Kobe’s Teppanyaki the krab rangoons weren’t overly “fishy” and the egg rolls didn’t have an overpowering weird after-taste like one on Rocksprings. . . & best of all.. it reheats really well. I just got done eating everything i just mentioned.( Air fried the crunchy stuff and it tasted fresh as it did yesterday. )

... tonight was the 1st time ever order here...

Around 7:15pm on a Monday, we walked in the food court, they offered us bourbon chicken and orange chicken samples, both were super flavourful! (Think that classic bourbon chicken from your favorite mall growing up... straight up nostalgia)

Without hesitation, we ordered... 2x two meat plate with two sides. Both meals with bourbon chicken and orange chicken. They proceeded to make our meat options fresh to order from the kitchen (Not something you typically expect from a food court)! We loved it!

The food was just as tasty as the samples, super reasonably priced, and containers packed full!

Evidently they don't "get" the idea that the faster they get it to your door, the bigger the tip. Although the checkout allows you to select "pickup" the web genie will not process an order unless you select "delivery".In other words, China Star is great — and needs to cut all ties with DoorDash“
