“The buffet had a great variety of staples we knew and some new dishes to try, all creamy and spiced perfectly (some heat, but not so much that it was too hot). Service was sweet and explained dishes to us, attentive to our table. Very clean restaurant as well. Definitely returning!“

Tolerate spicy food. We had the buffet for lunch. I'm not familiar with Indian food at all, but I was pleasantly surprised with how good the food was. It wasn't too spicy, very flavorful and unique. It was nice to eat really fresh food that tasted amazing. I highly recommend giving them a try. I think for the quality of the food it is well worth the buffet price. Just don't expect a hugh spread, but instead a good selection of fresh, real food instead of the normal processed food for lunch

“One of the best in orlando. I have got the opportunity to know the owner, chef and his wife. This small business is one of a kind. We liked their food so much we did catering. The owner is perfectionist. All food is always made from scratch. Highly recommend. One of the nicest people I kno.“

“Best Indian food since Woodlands. Small canteen where it's best to order and take out to go. This is more Southern Indian style food, and it's very well made. The canteen is towards the back of the first building once you enter the lot. They are not open everyday but they are open Friday evenings, so make sure to read the hours on the sign before entering, that way you'll know what days of the week they are open.
Vegetarian options: There is no means in any of the main dishes.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is handycat parking areas and the sidewalk does lead straight into the canteen.“

“Outstanding food on October 25th 2024 last Friday ...Entire family loved all the good food.....should not mention one particular.. they make really well.
Outstanding Team Manager Shivani Kapoor and her team manages really well. I know Paul Kappoor for 18 years- Masters Chef- super smart, quick...highly capable entrepreneur.
Other Good people i should not forget is RoopaSri - very nice, polite, intelligent, quick and absorbs every thing in one go..such a young age or young ...met her first time.. Amazing.
Put a Kudos to them and recommend Gateway to India in Longwood, always.
Highlly reasonable also according to my family:)))))since i dont pay too much attention i guess. Thanks so much again

“My wife and I stopped in for the lunch buffet (4-12-2004). It was our first time in this eating establishment. The food on the buffet was wonderful. It was fresh and tasty. The spices were outstanding. We like Indian food and this is a winner. The chef knows how to prepare Indian food. The buffet had a very good choice of different foods to try. This place is worth a visit. Also, staff was very outgoing and pleasant. They wanted to be sure that you were having a good dining experience. Needless to say we will be back again.“

Parking: Lots of parking, I'd say around 50 spaces. Not a big restaurant, so plenty of space.
Kid-friendliness: For the kids who don't eat indian food, they can always whip up some classic Chicken Nuggets and fries.“

“What an outstanding meal!Do not hesitate to go and thoroughly enjoy authentic Guyanese meals. Plus delicious treats like cheese rolls, black eye cake, metai and salted peanuts!The black pudding took me back to my childhood and my husband raved about their duck curry! Everything I’ve tasted was delicious and authentic. The owner and the beautiful lady, sorry I forgot your name ,amazing as well. Definitely a stop when I’m in that area. Love the atmosphere, and the love from the Guyanese folks.

“The food is great absolutely delicious, the outside of the store is nice, the inside looks greasy and trashy, Is not a server restaurant, you just order and pick a table. Is worth it, oxtail is delicious. Just don’t come dressing fancy thinking that it’s classy lol“
