Now, the bar outside has arguably the best bartender in the area and abroad. Steph is the bomb. Followed her from another establishment to this location. Amazing person, and great bartender. “I started going to Athena’s when my son and family first moved to Maitland over 17 years ago. Since 2018 I went there at least once a week. Having to move back to Connecticut, I miss their chicken so much. My grandchildren know when I come to visit that is the first place I stop to eat. Their chicken is always so delicious and moist. I wish they would open a place here ❤️“

“Anything on this menu is ridiculously tasteful, has an amazing presentation and flavor, is made with love, and priced extremely fair! Leftovers for days and you can tell the Chef is the owner. Flawless! Hands down there is not a better tasting or better run Italian restaurant is the entire Central Florida area and possibly the State!“

“I ordered the specialty Drama Queen roll: spicy tuna, avocado, yellowtail with tempura flakes, jalapeño, black tobiko and spicy kimchee sauce on top. It was fresh and delicious! $16. Also got my usual spicy tuna roll which was good. The service and ambiance were also good. Highly recommend!
Parking: Difficult to find parking on Friday night…there is street parking and parking lot nearby, free.
Kid-friendliness: Kids having birthday party there. Kids items on menu.“

“I love the atmosphere here. It's really clean and the décor is old-fashioned and cozy. The bartenders are polite and attentive and know how to pour a perfect pint of Guinness. I've only had one meal here, a simple grilled cheese and french fries...and that had to be the best grilled cheese sandwich I've ever had and the fries were perfectly fried and seasoned.“

“Great food, but take it home the seating area is small and it's hot inside! The portions are more than generous for the price. I had the Shrimp Lo Mein combo which includes an egg roll. Very well done!“

“We tried the Smash burger and drink special for lunch. Burger and fries were hot and fresh. Beer was cold. It's been a few years since I've been here. I miss a couple of the old menu items, but Galen told us a new menu is coming soon. Stop in for a quick burger and drink.“
