“This is a hidden gem that shouldn't be overlooked! The outside is a little unassuming and blends in with all the businesses, marine shops, etc. The inside though is made up of an eclectic display of lush tropical plants, trees, knickknacks, exotic snacks, cookies and the like. There is outdoor seating with ample fans and overhead cover. Definitely an island vibe. I had the Jerk Chicken meat pie to start which was the best I've had. Then I tried the Hawaiian grilled cheese sandwich. Sweet bread and full of awesome flavor! I then had the mango BBQ ribs from the on site food truck. Perfect amount of smoke and sweetness and perfectly done. Washed it down with fresh squeezed mango lemonade which was refreshing and perfectly sweet! Overall this was the best meal and atmosphere in all of the Keys I've tried! So much so, I made it a point to let the cashier/host know as well as the working owner at the food truck. Highly recommend!!”

“We tried the tostones (fried plantains)--they were crisp and delicious. Be sure to ask about the dip, they initially gave us a non-vegan aioli. They brought us a tasty chimichurri sauce instead. Fun environment, friendly servers. Updated from previous review on 2026-01-05”

“I did takeout. Great customer service, Amazing food. I had adobo ribs with refried beans,rice and salad,sooo good. Beef soup was amazing and the chicken tostada was delish. Gotta try the Horchata a milky rice drink with cinnamon. I'll be back.”

“AMAZING!!!! Had dinner as a last minute decision, and we were completely impressed with Barracuda Grill. We all had the special, lobster scallop and shrimp linguini. Salads were great, entrees were top notch, and the staff were really friendly. Highly recommended.”

“Ice cream is rich and creamy with a ton of great diverse flavors. Fun signage and options add some variety to the aesthetic. Key lime pie is so thick and dense and the whipped topping is fresh and flavorful. Really one of the the best pies I've had in the keys. S'mores cookie was gooey and soft with the perfect ratio of marshmallow and chocolate. Cost is reasonable against portion sizes and the little shop and seating is clean and abundant. Def a must stop in marathon.”

“Tried Pop’s Smoke Shed for the first time today as they were posted up next to the Bronson barbershop and lord we did not expect what we received! Usually with food trucks you get mediocre small Togo boxes of food. The Togo boxes from Pop’s were packed full almost overflowing with such mouthwatering BBQ, my husband is one of the pickets BBQ people you’d ever meet he hardly eats it he’s so picky about it but he couldn’t stop raving over his meal. There was enough in all of our plates that my whole family all only ate half our meals and was able to put the other halves away for later! You definitely receive your bang for your buck! And we hope we see Pop’s Smoke Shed around Bronson more often! 1000/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Had the crab queso again! salmon prepared mazalatán was very good, loved the sauce, huge portions. Husband had the lobster enchiladas. I wasn't a fan of my Thunderbolt margarita, I thought it lacked flavor. Adam was our most attentive and fun server.”

“Wow! This restaurant, the food and the customer service were amazing! My family had been vacationing down in Marathon for about a week and we had yet to find a good restaurant. We tried out all of the other recommended places that were supposedly very delicious and we were not very impressed. They all tasted like cheap bar food. We found this restaurant just from a Google search and it had good reviews so we figured we would give it a try. It’s very hard to find a restaurant that all five people in my family can say that they loved without a shadow of a doubt, but this place is it. We tried a whole bunch of different menu items and every single thing was amazing! From the Cubans, the oxtail, the cheeseburger, the coquette and milkshakes. It was so good that we are actually considering going back tonight for dinner when we were just there today for lunch. We spoke with one of the family members that owns the restaurant and he was so great! Explained the different menu items to us when we weren’t sure what they were. I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. Skip the big fancy chain restaurants and eat here next time you won’t regret it!”

“Excellent meal. Great cocktails- especially liked the old fashion- and wine selection. Enjoyed an abundant serving of fried calamari and a truly delicious pesto risotto with big fish. Risotto was the perfect texture and the hogfish broiled simply was very delicate and moist. The space is so inviting and cozy. We will be back!”

“We love Sparky's! We usually visit at least 2-3x during our annual trip to the Keys. Their Key Lime Pie is the very best, EVER! Surely this pie has won them awards! Sadly, it will be another 11 mos before we'll be back... Sparky's will be our first stop!”

We also got a couple sushi rolls, tuna tartar and pork belly. All of it was good. For dessert, the fruit salad was amazing. Noah was a great attentive waiter.”

“Love this place! We’ve been coming here many times throughout the years and enjoy the atmosphere and delicious food! Our ONLY issue here has been one specific, rude waitress. Today was the 2nd time we’ve had her as our waitress. First time (last year) she attended our families, we noticed she was rude, but gave her the benefit of the doubt, figuring she was having a bad day. But today, she was being extremely rude, unprofessional and seemed annoyed. She treated our kids poorly and treated the adults like kids. I’d still recommend this place, but please be aware not to have TANIA as your waitress!”

“This place was so fun! We were staying in Marathon for the week and wanted a place to watch the Cleveland Browns. It’s just like the reviews say, little dive bar. Cheep cold beer in cans or bottles, various liquor and super great locals. We all cheered for our teams, laughed and they welcomed our group. You can have food delivered from local places.”

“It was our first time eating there,,service was lacking a lot,,we had to ask for refills, she did leave a pitcher of water then. We ordered the lasagna dinner that comes with a side salad so we ordered another regular salad since we were splitting the meal. The side salad was pitiful, it came on a coffee saucer it looked like,the regular salad was a good size. For $24 the side salad should have been the same size as the extra salad. She brought our food and we sat there waiting on the bread,,,she comes back by and informed us bread was extra,,,really, I’ve never had a meal at any restaurant where you had to pay extra for bread, most will bring you more if you eat what they served you the first time. The upside was the lasagna was good.”

“This place was recommended by the bartender at our resort. When I saw it was located in a strip mall I did not have high hopes. But everything was beyond excellent. We watched the Eagles game and got a few football specials. My kids each got a burger that they raved about. I had blackened tuna bites that were amazing!!! We will be back next trip!!”

“Stopped in for dinner and enjoyed our server Cleona. She has a smile that is everything Keys! Happy and warm! Having Cleona as a server makes the meal that much more enjoyable. She is a true asset to Sunset Grille and one of the reasons we keep coming back to Sunset Grille time and time again! The food was excellent. Try the Boom Boom Shrimp to start and you won’t be disappointed!”

“Seemed line we were am inconvenience for breakfast especially!!!!! Very slow service like they bring you one cup of coffee your food and never to be seen again. Food was decent for breakfast. Cesar salad id fantastic the rib eye dont bother, its horrible thing and fatty. Wish I could give a better review but not impressed at all with food and or the service and friendliness of staff!”

“There are LOT of good food choices down in The Keys, but this was easily our best meal. The Cuban elements were ridiculously good. Wonderfully seasoned and every bite felt like home cooking.
