“Tried Irie Island Eats for the first time and it was so delicious! We had banana foster iced coffee, breakfast burrito and meat lover’s flatbread! All of it was fresh and amazing! We will be back to try ye other food trucks for lunch soon!”

“Bongos Beer Garden is a true hidden gem in the Keys, and I’m so glad we stumbled upon it! From the moment we walked in, the laid-back atmosphere and great music made it the perfect place to unwind. It has that ideal Florida Keys vibe — casual, welcoming, and full of character. The food here blew me away. The quinoa salad was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had — super fresh with bold flavors, and the candied walnuts gave it that perfect sweet crunch. I also loved the tuna bowl; it was packed with fresh ingredients, and the edamame added a great texture and flavor balance.

What really set this place apart was the fun family-friendly setup — they had a floating water pad for kids to play on, which was such a cool touch. We even got to watch people wakeboarding nearby, adding to the laid-back, adventurous energy of the whole place. Whether you’re looking for a spot to chill with friends, entertain the family, or just enjoy some really great food in a cool setting, Bongos delivers. It quickly became my favorite spot in the Keys, and we can’t wait to come back again soon!”

“I did takeout. Great customer service, Amazing food. I had adobo ribs with refried beans,rice and salad,sooo good. Beef soup was amazing and the chicken tostada was delish. Gotta try the Horchata a milky rice drink with cinnamon. I'll be back.”

“AMAZING!!!! Had dinner as a last minute decision, and we were completely impressed with Barracuda Grill. We all had the special, lobster scallop and shrimp linguini. Salads were great, entrees were top notch, and the staff were really friendly. Highly recommended.”

“Wow! This restaurant, the food and the customer service were amazing! My family had been vacationing down in Marathon for about a week and we had yet to find a good restaurant. We tried out all of the other recommended places that were supposedly very delicious and we were not very impressed. They all tasted like cheap bar food. We found this restaurant just from a Google search and it had good reviews so we figured we would give it a try. It’s very hard to find a restaurant that all five people in my family can say that they loved without a shadow of a doubt, but this place is it. We tried a whole bunch of different menu items and every single thing was amazing! From the Cubans, the oxtail, the cheeseburger, the coquette and milkshakes. It was so good that we are actually considering going back tonight for dinner when we were just there today for lunch. We spoke with one of the family members that owns the restaurant and he was so great! Explained the different menu items to us when we weren’t sure what they were. I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. Skip the big fancy chain restaurants and eat here next time you won’t regret it!”

“We love Sparky's! We usually visit at least 2-3x during our annual trip to the Keys. Their Key Lime Pie is the very best, EVER! Surely this pie has won them awards! Sadly, it will be another 11 mos before we'll be back... Sparky's will be our first stop!”

“A group of 6 of us had a fabulous dinner here last night. Had reservations and were seated immediately when we got there. Linda our server was witty and clever, but never too familiar. She did an excellent job, of talking us through the specials. 5 out of the 6 of us ordered specials. Everything was delicious. A few of us ordered desserts. Not sure why, we were so stuffed by the portions. There were plenty of to go boxes. 😂”

“This is the nicest shop in Marathon! We were eating at a nearby restaurant and stopped in to check out this store. Delicious gelato and beautiful merchandise with a huge selection. The staff was so very friendly. We showed up a few minutes before closing time and they treated us like they had just started their shift. Sandra has the warmest and friendliest attitude and we have not encountered customer service that great in a very long time. She’s a keeper and we hope to see her again on our next visit.”

“This place was phenomenal if I could give it a 20/10 I would. My bartender Sabby was exceptional and she’s so pretty and charming my Husband and I couldn’t stop laughing! Her hospitality is amazing. Everyone at the bar was treated so nice and kindly by her. I wanted something sweet so She recommended chocolate espresso martini , and it was mouth watering with a hint of orange. Ugh! Yummy! It’s my new favorite drink. My husband had the old cuban and it was absolutely tasty. We had the guava pineapple burnt ends and two coffee rub New York strips with goat cheese mashed potato’s ! I love their approach to AG and sourcing and seeking everything locally it genuinely makes my heart so happy for all small business and local farmers.”

“Love this place! We’ve been coming here many times throughout the years and enjoy the atmosphere and delicious food! Our ONLY issue here has been one specific, rude waitress. Today was the 2nd time we’ve had her as our waitress. First time (last year) she attended our families, we noticed she was rude, but gave her the benefit of the doubt, figuring she was having a bad day. But today, she was being extremely rude, unprofessional and seemed annoyed. She treated our kids poorly and treated the adults like kids. I’d still recommend this place, but please be aware not to have TANIA as your waitress!”

“It felt like sitting on an exclusive deck of a spectacular cruise ship. There are both comfy seating areas, very classy wood and cushioned chairs and couches, with umbrellas... as well as table and chairs for more practical dining.We went there for breakfast as part of our stay at Grassy Flats resort. The food is excellent, just like Rhum House, same cooks, same chefs. It can get very overwhelmed with people in the morning, which is why I didn't give it a 5 for service. It isn't like they didn't try, but while we were there, they got a rush for breakfast and it took a while. The days we were able to order breakfast from the Rhum House, due to higher winds the service was excellent! The pictures come from our breakfast at Rhum House, but the menu is the same.The two most spectacular dishes for breakfast were a fruit tray that was so gorgeous to behold, and the yogurt bowl that was sprinkled with chocolate and honey. Avocado toast was excellent, so I heard (I'm gluten sensitive so I didn't get to try it). Coffee was good, and endless. Mai Tais were also available that day, as our favorite bartender was on duty and it wasn't too busy. It was well worth the deviation from our normal breakfast.On the day we had breakfast on the Palm Deck, it was too busy to ask for a Mai Tai, and the bartender on duty didn't know how to make them the same way. Food was a little slow, but they were slammed with one server on. The food quality was excellent.

Vegetarian options: The fruit salad is to die for, as is the avocado toast see pictures. I believe there were also cereals (I can't eat them so I don't' know).

Dietary restrictions: I am gluten sensitive and there were many options for me. Vegan and vegetarian needs can also be met.

Kid-friendliness: We had our 2 year old nephew and he had a great time. They provided a smaller bowl of yogurt on request. We were able to walk the deck while waiting for our food. There is a lot to distract a little one with the views and the trees and birds nearby. They had high chairs easily accessible too.

Wheelchair accessibility: Easy access from parking lot (though gravel) to huge elevator, to front door.”

“We got too hungry on our drive to Key West and had to stop 1hr out. We oicked this place. We thought it was more of a dine in restaurant, but it was an outdoor poolside bar with tables. It was surprisingly quaint with beautiful views and the pool goers were quiet.

We ordered a few different foods, and everything was great. Especially the blackened fish tacos.”

“This place was recommended by the bartender at our resort. When I saw it was located in a strip mall I did not have high hopes. But everything was beyond excellent. We watched the Eagles game and got a few football specials. My kids each got a burger that they raved about. I had blackened tuna bites that were amazing!!! We will be back next trip!!”

“It was our first time eating there,,service was lacking a lot,,we had to ask for refills, she did leave a pitcher of water then. We ordered the lasagna dinner that comes with a side salad so we ordered another regular salad since we were splitting the meal. The side salad was pitiful, it came on a coffee saucer it looked like,the regular salad was a good size. For $24 the side salad should have been the same size as the extra salad. She brought our food and we sat there waiting on the bread,,,she comes back by and informed us bread was extra,,,really, I’ve never had a meal at any restaurant where you had to pay extra for bread, most will bring you more if you eat what they served you the first time. The upside was the lasagna was good.”

The place was clean and the service was quick. The staff were pleasant.
This place is good if one would like to make a pit stop, there is ample parking and the rest rooms are clean.

“Relaxing, chill tiki bar right on the water. It’s behind the Bluegreen Vacations Resort and open to the public. We had the Friday night all you can eat Mahi fish fry and it was delicious. Best fish we had while in the Keys. Highly recommend the Mahi fried fish.”

“There are LOT of good food choices down in The Keys, but this was easily our best meal. The Cuban elements were ridiculously good. Wonderfully seasoned and every bite felt like home cooking.
