We got the fried red snapper, okra and oxtail, griot (fried pork). Sides of jon jon (black rice), tostones (fried savory plantains), mac and cheese, pikliz (spicy vinegar slaw) and a sauce for the rice. Everything was SO good. I immediately texted my brother and told him to go try it when he’s in town. This is a meal I’ll be thinking about for a long time.

The parking lot is tiny so we found parking on 16th and 5th across from Piman.“

I had THE BEST experience in visiting this restaurant for the first time. The customer service and warm welcome made me feel immediately at home! I was going to order the food to go, but decided to sit down to enjoy the cool space, the good food, and the really warm people. The food was a 10/10 in abundance and in taste!!! Very few places can just make you feel loved immediately, but this was one. I thoroughly enjoyed having a mother-daughter lunch that we both will never forget. I will be back, trust and believe!! “I decided to check out this place since it was my last night in the city, and I’m so glad I did! I ordered the Turkey Tassot and a couple of patties. The turkey was delicious! The patties were just okay, though—they could have used a bit more filling. But the service was fantastic, which made the experience special. I loved the Turkey Tassot so much that I called a Haitian friend of mine when I returned home to get her recipe. Mine turned out pretty good, but it didn’t compare to the amazing one from the restaurant!“

When my food came out, she was kind enough to put a couple of extras so I can try other things that my plate didn't come with (mac n cheese is chefs kiss). “Found this place because another Haitian restaurant dropped the ball and I'm so glad they did! I ordered a childhood dish I always loved, spaghetti with shrimp! The way my mom used to make it was clearly second to none. I ordered it hoping it would be somewhere in the neighborhood of what my mom did, and it did not disappoint! I also ordered for later today an order of garlic shrimp with fried plantains. It too was excellent!!! On saying this restaurant's contact information in my phone. “Don't let the name fool you. This is my go to Haitian food take- out! Service time is reasonable. Value/price relationship is pretty balanced.
My favorites are griot simple, and tassot simple * served with fried plaintain.
They serve generously. One platter of food may serve 2.

“Really enjoyed coming to Le Bistro 2.0. Was able to have a small business meeting over lunch and they excel at everything here from the tasty authentic food, the friendly service, and the fresh clean vibe. I’ve been here through the years but since the new ownership took over recently the layout and atmosphere are definitely trending in the right direction. The Djon Djon rice on the weekend menu is a must and a favorite in our household!“

“I am giving them a 8/10 for great food and price. I had griot, fried fish and the food was well seasoned and flavored, the portion was great. My only complaint is the music was too loud and the decor was poor, place is small too. I guess most people just order and pick up the food.“

“What can I say.. This is some of the most delicious Haitian food in broward county hands down. The fried plantains are the best I've ever had.. I'm Cuban and my mom can cook and these are better than hers( I won't tell her that) that turkey tassot is amazing the white rice was perfect.“
