This place is definitely NOT closed. 3 stars because I didn't try any food or drink. Just went for information. I stopped in tonight Wednesday 9/6/23. I saw 2 people at the bar and spoke to the bartender. Real nice guy. Hours are Tuesday to Sunday after 6pm. They are having staffing issues so no morning or day hours. If you know anyone looking for work! I was given a menu. If you are close stop by and give them a try. I plan to do this our next date night.
We were looking for a take out place for our Friday dinner and stumbled upon Valencias. We tried calling in our order but no one picked up the phone, so we tried once more and got lucky. We placed our order- a regular brown stew chicken with oxtail gravy on the rice and peas, and a regular oxtail. My husband went to pick up the food and said it was a little confusing to find the restaurant as it is in an event venue. Once he found an employee he was assisted immediately. I tried this place for my daughter graduation lunch and the food was great!! We order legume and griot everything was fresh the plantain was crispy not oily and soggy the food was AMAZING! Definitely will go there again!!
