“We always say "We don't feel like we are in Florida , until we go to Micelli's" We went there 4/1/25. An excellent, friendly hostess greeted us. Had a wonderful seat by the water. We loved the breeze, boats going by, superb clam chowder, pizza and music. Great service by our waitress. Glad to be back on Matlache. Parking is tricky. We got there early. We love and recommend it highly. A favorite Florida experience. We will be back.😎😎“

“Nice place. Our waitress was very attentive, kept our ice tea full and remembered to keep plenty of Splena on the table. I ordered the Seafood Cobb Salad. I am a Cobb Salad fan and order one where ever I go. This one was huge and I mean a 12” plate piled on. All of the individual components were plentiful 5 grilled shrimp on top, tons of cherry tomatoes, a half a pig of bacon, bleu cheese, onions, and the rest were stacked high. Only thing that would have made it better would be chopped greens. I had to get a “kitty bag” for later. Desert was their Banana Bread Pudding with toasted bananas. Again huge could have shared it with 3. Wife ordered Crème Brûlée which she wouldn’t share. Only bump was wife’s entre, Dolphin fish came out topped with tomatoes which she is deathly allergic (not mentioned on the menu) but not to worry, they made her another lickety split. Two entrées, appetizer, ice tea, desert and nice tip came to just under $100 about average for a decent Cape Coral restaurant. Big smiles on this one.????“

“My husband and I celebrated our anniversary here and everything was incredible! The waiter was genuinely friendly and did an excellent job. The lighting was not too bright and not too dim. We started out with the ciabatta bread that was served with a delicious pumpkin butter! To die for! We both had filet mignon and it was cooked perfectly medium. We cut through it like butter and it melted in our mouths. I got a baked potato that was cooked perfectly, and he ordered loaded garlic mashed potatoes that had cheese and bacon. Awesome! The asparagus was so crisp and yummy! For dessert we shared the caramel apple crumble with vanilla bean ice cream. So good! I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant. This was one of the best meals we have ever had.“

“We had a fantastic dinner at GatorBites Tail & Ale. Amber, our server, was perfectly attentive and timed everything just right. Nick, the owner, added charm by working the floor as a “pretend bus boy” before joining us for a great conversation that made the evening even more memorable.

As a lifelong foodie who usually cooks high-end meals at home, I was genuinely impressed. Some of the negative reviews I’d seen beforehand now seem baffling — this place exceeded expectations across the board.

The food was outstanding. The beer-battered shrimp were the best I’ve ever had — light, crispy, and flavorful. The wings were excellent, and my wife loved her smoked pulled pork sandwich. Their signature fresh gator was also a standout. First-timers: go for the virgin breaded version — it’s far more tender and crispy than the flavored options.

Prices are very fair, especially considering the quality. The cocktails are strong and well-made, and their house IPA, Reef Donkey, was a surprise hit — easily the best IPA I’ve had.

Despite being a sports bar-style venue, it’s spotlessly clean, welcoming, and delicious. It’s a little off the beaten path, but absolutely worth the effort to find. We’ll definitely be back.“

“Another one of those little Gems. Found it this week. Needed a nice place for our 4th Anniversary Dinner:
Called and made a reservation[Recommended] and we arrived at 17:30.was greeted and served Bread. The bread alone was exceptional.
I ordered the Rack of Lamb, my wife had the Pork Chop.
I must say, outside my own Kitchen, this was “The Best” Lamb I have ever had! Succulent, Tender, and cooked perfectly. The Pork Chop was also very good, probably the Tenderest I’ve ever tasted.
The servers here are what you would expect at a Four Star Restaurant.

“The dinner started with a few hiccups, somehow they were out of Miller Lite, Yuenghling AND Sam Adams draft? they only had i think 8 taps and a couple are not even beer?

luckily our server, Hailey, was very nice and efficient, food was better than expected given it is a national chain and an Applebees, not only did the food taste great but it was piping hot and fresh

Not a place i would normally go to but the people i was with insited and i am glad they did, we will be back

We showed up ten minutes before closing (yes we were those people).. Latisia(sp) greeted us and assured us at that we're fine with a super positive attitude. “Went to the all-you-can-eat fish fry on Friday. Crunchy, tasty fish. Great-tasting crunchy fries. But the only thing that is all you can eat is the fish. Not fries or coleslaw. They cook it to order, and it comes out quite hot. Service from Morgan was top-notch. Not too bad for $15. But it's not like buffet style; where you go up and grab your food. They bring out the fish as you request it. So, basically, you have to wait as they cook it. But overall, it was very crunchy, tasty food, and the service was excellent.“

“This is the 3rd or maybe 4th time I have visited this location and had to wait over 1/2 hr for my food. Last time I walked out the time before that I waited 1 hr to be seated and and additional hr to get my food. It is as shame they take care of the take out orders first. The only good thing about this place is their sever and cashier. Very pleasant and patient. Food has gone done hill as well. And before you make a smart remark. I have been going to this place for over 20 years and I am a cape coral resident.“

“This is a must try on the Cape! The menu is interesting. The food is excellent. They have a bit of a unique setup with the main restaurant on one side of a central wall and cocktail lounge on the other side. They have very different atmospheres but both are cool depending on what you are looking for. Note: they have separate outside entrances but you can move between the two without going outside. Also the full menu is available on both sides. If you read my reviews you know I care about the details that makes a place good or meh. In This is what makes 10 Twenty Five above average 1) the food: interesting takes on standard that make this place stand out. The quality is high and consistent. Including taco Tuesday where they present a special taco of the week along with the normal “gringo” tacos. They also offer a soup of the day. Unlike most restaurants it’s actually a home made soup that reflects the unique imagination that is seen in the rest of the menu. The same can be said about the Saturday-Sunday brunch offerings. 2) Drinks: Smart cocktails and an excellent tap beer selections have something for everyone. 3) Staff: Almost all are over the top friendly and they work on a team system so there’s no one person you are dependent on to serve you. They all work together at the bar and tables to make sure you have what you want when you want it, including the check. Unfortunately, I don’t have a bunch of great pics of the food to post but many others have done that before me. Enjoy this cool spot.

I grew up going to Pete’s Time Out on Fort Myers Beach, went almost every weekend until we no longer could and they had the best breakfast. “Mel’s Diner Cape Corral 3-4-25 Stopped by Mel’s on Monday around 12:30pm. This place was clean, neat, and busy. We got seated right away and Dee Dee was our waitress. I ordered the Western Black Angus Chopped Steak with Mashed Potatoes and Corn. My wife and our friend ordered the Mel’s Classic Cheeseburger with Cheese, Lettice, Tomato, Onions, Coleslaw, and Fries. Once our order came out my Chopped Steak was amazing. The Chopped Steak had Onions piled high on the top and lots of Gravy, it was so good. My wife and our friends Burger were done perfectly, and the Fries were just yummy and even the Coleslaw was good. All our food was hot and plenty of it as we had to get a to go box to take some home. Once done we ordered two Milkshakes, one Chocolate and one Strawberry. They were very good if you like old fashion Milkshakes get yourself one for sure.
