Took a chance and left the highway into a community, about 3 miles. We found a great Burger King and a Publix in the same plaza. Enjoyed our lunch.“

Kelly's and Crickets merged into one location, bringing both menus into one bar menu. Is it bar food? Is it comfort food? I say it is comfort in a bar. The ambiance is a sports bar all the way. Sandy is the bartender/server today, and she is absolutely outstanding in her job performance. Sadly, she informed me they pool the tips, as her professionalism garnered her a 58% tip. I asked Sandy for one of their daily specials (Tuesdays is Meatloaf, mashed potatoes and green beans), six wings and one of their Jr. Burgers (medium rare). Sandy placed the order as we continued our anfractuous conversation about everything under the sun. Go, Sports Ball Team! Before too long, our order was up and after snapping a few pictures for y'all, I got to work. Look at that scrumptious lookin' grub! Look at it! First up on my palate was the Tuesday Special. I love me a good meatloaf plate with all the fixins and this one had it in spades. The meatloaf was firm, savory and perfectly done. The gravy was obviously made in the back and not from a packet or can, as the flavoring was superb, complex and akin to the nectar of the Greek Gods. I almost asked for a bucket to go; it was so good. The green beans were great. This was perfection on a plate. Putting down my fork and turning my attention to the wings was difficult, but I was here for a job, not to relish every bite of a delectable meatloaf. I ordered the six wings with a medium spiciness and they were just that—spot on, to be exact. They were cooked correctly and seasoned with enough kick to say a hearty hello to my palate but not enough to make me break out in a sweat. Well done, Line Cook! Alas, I begrudgingly looked toward the last item for review today, the Jr. Burger. As you can clearly see in the picture, there is nothing “Junior” about this model of ground charred Bovine flesh. I was actually shocked at the size and had to do a double-take on the menu. After closer inspection, I discovered that their regular “Famous Kelly Burgers” are 8 oz hand-formed patties, and the Junior was a mere 6 oz. A word of advice, if I may be so bold. Do NOT use condiments on this burger. It is seasoned during formation and cooking and is delicious as is. The Big Boy says, “ Play some pool, shoot the breeze with Sandy and eat lots of tasty burgers, wings, and things (I wager their homemade soup and chili is to die for).”“

“We called in for lunch in mid April on the way to the airport for our flight back to England. The atmosphere and small town charm were a lovely surprise. The food was delicious even pleasing 2 grumpy teens. The owner (I’m sorry I didn’t catch your names) were both chatty and friendly, I would recommend anyone call for a visit“

“We had their special dinner for two…a full slab of bbq ribs,fall off the bone tender ,with four sides and it even included an appetizer, salad , or dessert. We chose the dessert, hot donuts with dipping sauces. Service was great, food was delicious, very enjoyable meal.“

“Wow! Being a vegan, I was pleasantly surprised with their bean burger. I thought it was going to be one of those flat frozen ones that other restaurants use. Nope! Hubba hubba, they make their own and it was deliciouso! I had the Mauna Loa without cheese and aioli. I bugged them, I'm sure, asking so many questions, is this vegan, is that vegan. “It's a family friendly place . The food is amazing and Brielle are waitress was friendly and has a great sense of humor. I had my wife looking for a pine float on the menu and she couldn't find it so I got up and got a toothpick. Then she got to enjoy her first pine float . We spoke with Mrs. Jane who works here and has been at many of the friendly's locations. She is one of the nicest lady's we spoke to all day . And one other thing this place is 1000 time's better than steak & shake . They don't have waitresses and you have to order your food from some stupid kiosk machines. So in all it's a two thumbs up for friendly's . From my Wife and I . Happy wife happy life . Anyway they have amazing deserts to.“

“What a neat find. Driving back home up A1A and saw the sign for Sausages and Beef Steaks ... stomach gave a quick grumble and before my wife could agree, I swung into the park and headed over. This isn't fast food - your food is cooked as ordered, so enjoy the time to walk over the dunes to the beach or sit at one of the picnic tables. The signs don't lie, we enjoyed both the sausage and beef steak - hot, fresh and yummy.“

“This is definitely my favorite bowling alley. Great people. Great atmosphere! The leagues are fun as a beginner bowler this is definitely a place to learn. Bowling. The staff is great. For food options I like the Caesar chicken salad and my husband loves the wings.
