“Arrived in Melrose early for a family dinner and decided to grab a beer at Melrose Pub while waiting for the rest of my party to arrive. Walked in and was immediately greeted in the most friendly way by patrons and bartender alike. Enjoyed an icy-cold Yuengling from the bottle ($3) and was treated like a part of the family. As a non-smoker, the only part I did not enjoy was the thick cigarette smoke. But no complaints here, this is a great little local spot where I will definitely return for another visit when traveling through this area!”

“What a great little spot for lunch. The burgers and the fried chicken are delicious and cooked to perfection. The sides are delicious too. Bobbi, Corey, Jenn, Maci& Shailee all provide a friendly and festive atmosphere for dining in. This is a great place for a great meal.”

“I just wanted to leave a personally good review on this place first I absolutely love the hospitality and service here. i instantly feel absolutely welcomed and relaxed the prices are fair and a great quality for what you pay for and the kitchen is right by the bar so you can basically watch them prepare you're food. as for the taste of the drinks and food 10/10 imo never a bad dish or drink served and not to mention the drop dead gorgeous and great waitresses that serve you Ms Allison and Ms Holly and the OG (I'm so sorry I forgot what you told me your name was! 💀) just to name a few and shout out to those cooks which I did not get the pleasure of asking for your name yall are real mvps! “This was our 2nd time eating at Cedar River in Keystone. We have nothing but great reviews and comments on both times. The best and friendliness service from the time you walk in the door until you leave. The servers are the best most attentive you can find. The food is amazing each time we have been the portions are more than plenty. The service is fast even on a busy Saturday night. It is about 20 miles from home I will gladly drive that for the food and service we get there. Thank you Cedar River we will be back.”

Had extremely polite staff and the Clyde omelet was off the chain which was a lot of food and could be shared but if you are extremely hungry this was the way to go! We had 11 men there and ordered 5 or 6 Clyde omelets and the others got different breakfast specials and it was all great! Highly recommend!!!!!!”

“This is a hole in the wall bar in the middle of nowhere. Was on a bike trip, and we popped in. One guy in our group works with the husband of the bar tender we had. She made me feel like family before we left.”
