Beautiful handmade blue corn tortilla and tortilla chips, fresh house made salsa, EXCELLENT passion fruit sangria and the blistered sheshito pepper tacos was perfection. Wonderful street front seating and our was slightly elevated so it made for a great experience. Can't wait to go back!!!

Based on reviews, Taquiza Tacos (North Beach) is a little out of the way but worth the drive. It is one of the more original restaurants in Miami Beach. There is a lot of construction right now (summer 2026) blocking the view of the beach, so the atmosphere has taken a hit. However, the food is fantastic. The Totopos are not to be missed and are still great. The chips are fresh fried and the guacamole is unlike anything anywhere else. They give a ton of guac. The tacos are tasty, and the barbacoa Tacos are the number one menu item. It is a really solid choice for tacos around surfside. Service can be slow, so come with some patience. The location is now in an old art deco hotel, which changed the vibe. The menu changed to remove fresh things like the cabbage on tacos, so the food has taken a hit.
