I asked the cashier can I try a sample of the rice and beans and the djion djion rice and the owner brought it out from the back and both of them were absolutely delicious! “Ordered 2 dinners and 2cakes. Conch dinner and snapper. Food was tasty but I would have prefer conch be a little more tender. Restaurant don’t offer Apple Pay so you have to have physical card with you to pay. It was clean and quiet. Staff was professional. I like that I was able to order over phone for pickup which was the deciding factor that made me go there. Big menu and a wide variety of food from breakfast to lunch /dinner options.“

“I visited from out of town and wanted some good down home food! I was impressed! I ordered the catfish and grits, Cajun shrimp and grits. Absolutely delicious! 10/10+ Oh and the mango juice was tasty as well! Staff were wonderful! I’ll definitely be back!“

“The establishment was truly remarkable! Upon entering, we were warmly welcomed by the owners' daughters. Subsequently, the owner herself came out and thoroughly explained the entire menu to us. Each member of our party selected a different dish, and everything was absolutely delicious! Every order arrived at the table steaming hot. My personal favorite was the fried snapper, which was fresh and seasoned to perfection! The peas and rice, cabbage, collard greens, and mac and cheese were also exceptionally tasty. To conclude our experience, we even took home some cake and banana pudding! We will certainly make another visit the next time we are in Miami!“

“The fried turkey wings with lemon pepper seasoning was amazing. The yams were delicious, but the greens were just okay. The waitress made really great recommendations. Everyone enjoyed their food, although they ordered straight off the menu, chicken, steak, and shrimp. I asked the waitress for advice. They all ordered the mystery mix drink while I ordered the waitress choice and mine tasted better. Overall, it was a great dining experience. You won't be disappointed.

“Average breakfast . I had grits, fried eggs and sausage with biscuits. The tea was good and southern sweeet. The young waiter, Blow, was extremely nice and calm. He wasn’t your typical waiter, but his style worked for a small soul food restaurant. The other male waiter/bus boy moved at super human speed. The place was very clean and definitely is a favorite of the locals. It was my first time visiting. I will definitely try it if I am ever back there.“

“This is the worst place on the planet, where you have to beg for a glass of water and the bar attender gives you the worst attitude and refuse to give you water. A freaking water!!! She ignores everything you ask, she doesn’t even bother to look at you!!! How?? Why??? Never in my life I have experienced something like this! Please, if you are not happy working there then you need to quit!!! Management, you are loosing customers there! You guys are in customers service business!!! I will never go back there to be disrespected again!! Neither should anyone!“

“Best omelet I've ever had in my life! No exaggeration. It was hot & flavored perfectly. I had all vegetables plus bacon. Cheese throughout, every bite was consistent & it was massive. Potatoes were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Pancakes were also delicious and fluffy, melt in your mouth. I also had the snapper. Super crunchy on the outside & packed with flavor. Also had the tea. Sweet & delicious! My only disappointment is they did not have some items on the lunch menu. (I wanted to try the greens and Mac & cheese) If you're looking for bougie or perfect atmosphere, this is not your place or esthetic. This is a mom & pop home cooked, made with love place. 10/10“
