Ballarò is a magnificent hidden gem, offering outstanding and authentic Italian food that feels like a piece of Rome or Palermo in Miami. The atmosphere is warm, rustic, and casual. The staff is welcoming, hospitable, friendly, and knowledgeable. All the food is handmade with love, featuring delicious and incredible pasta dishes like the Amatriciana, Bolognese, Rigatoni alla carbonara, and cacio e pepe. The La Crescia sandwich is also divine. Portions are sizable and the service is quick. A must-try is the authentic, in-house gelato, which is an unanticipated highlight to round out the meal. It is a treasure and could very well be the best place for Italian pasta in the city.
