“Hell's Kitchen Miami is a worthwhile experience for fans of Gordon Ramsay. We arrived 30 minutes prior to our dinner reservation. The website makes the restaurant seem more formal than it actually is in person - I saw one diner wearing a hat at their table. After having a drink at the bar, we were promptly seated when our reservation time arrived. The majority of the seating in Hell's Kitchen Miami is upstairs, which is where we were seated. This was a bit disappointing as the open kitchen is only really visible if you're lucky enough to be seated on the ground floor. Our server arrived at our table shortly after. Like on the show, you'll place your entire order at once. We ordered the Lobster Risotto and Pan-Seared Scallops as appetizers, two Beef Wellingtons as mains, and one Sticky Toffee Pudding to split for dessert. The appetizers mostly met our high expectations. The braised bacon lardons that came with the scallops took the dish up a level. The risotto was good, but at some points the lemon was a bit overpowering. Our beef wellingtons were cooked perfectly medium-rare, as advertised. The dish was delicious, but a bit difficult to eat as the pastry tends to separate from the meat as you cut. It's also worth noting that the portion of potato puree it comes with is closer to a garnish than actual side. If you want a side with your beef, order one separately. The sticky toffee pudding was the star of the show. It was incredible. The pudding itself sits in a pool of toffee with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. It's hard to describe how good this dessert is, you'll need to taste it for yourself. Our server was very knowledgeable and friendly, but at times seemed a bit inattentive. It seemed like he had to spend a lot of time explaining different dishes at different tables, which may have slowed him down. Regardless, it led to my boyfriend's cappuccino order not being placed until our dessert had already arrived. Overall I would probably return to the lunch service to see what that is like as the menu is a little different. Service 3.5/5 Food 4/5“
