This is our third time at the fantastic Avalon Hotel and it is not coincidental that we return over and over again. The magnificent and impeccable Team always ready to help, the convenience of being across the street from the beach and the beautiful, comfortable, quiet and recently remodeled ocean front rooms are some of the reasons why we keep coming back. The Avalon is a nice hotel right on Ocean Dr. The continental breakfast included in the stay was just enough to get your day started. Conveniently located across the street from the beach with beach chairs and beach towels included in your stay. The AC was a bit on the noisy side but kept the room cool. All the staff was very kind especially Camilo at the front desk.

Inside, sadly a lot of the original decoration no longer exists so it is a bit of a disappointment but things don't last forever. As a nice touch, the room door cards and room numbers both carry a picture of the classic yellow and white car that is parked outside of the hotel. The bed was very comfortable, there was no view from our room but we probably didn't pay for an expensive room as we don't go there to sit in an hotel room.
