We have been looking for smoked meat, not grill, not bbq since we moved here from central Texas. This is one that is closest to the great smokehouses in Lockhart, Tx. I enjoyed the pulled pork & brisket. The green bean and collagreen are good. We will come back. Meanwhile continue our search for more smokehouses.
Update: I sent an email to the restaurant and, I assume the manager, promptly replied, apologizing for the low quality of the food, and offering a full refund and some free ribs. We will give Smokin’ Jack’s a second chance.My husband ordered this today to bring home for lunch. $134 thrown out in the trash. I can’t comprehend how a restaurant can sell food like this, it’s so unethical and disgraceful.

Not the best BBQ, not the worst. Brisket was on the dry side but they seasoned it well. I prefer mine juicy.Mac n cheese was good for BBQ. Nothing to write home about.Would come back with friends, but probably not on my own.
