Donut King is an incredible, fantastic spot for anyone who loves donuts, highly recommended and worth a visit if in the area. The donuts are amazing, so good, to die for, absolutely delicious, excellent, fresh, tasty, well made, and oh so tasty. They are larger than any chain store, with huge cinnamon rolls and mega donuts you cannot eat in one sitting. There is a huge, great, large, almost overwhelming selection of specialty and unique varieties you will not find in any chain businesses, with so many flavors, fun decorations for the holidays, and crazy combinations of toppings. They do not skimp on the toppings. Popular choices include the classics like chocolate cake, glazed, chocolate glazed, jelly, strawberry frosted, chocolate frosted, and Bavarian cream, as well as unique options like the maple bacon donut, a strawberry frosted coconut topped donut, and a strawberry frosted "Pebbles" donut. The hot fresh glazed are also a favorite. The shop itself has a kind of worn look and a ho hum appearance from the outside, but do not let that fool you. The service is fantastic, great, super friendly, very patient, courteous, polite, and efficient. Be aware that the line gets very, very long sometimes and parking can be difficult. Overall, it is a must-visit, five-star place.
