My family and I traveled to Miami for a mini vacation, we went to Ft. Lauderdale to visit and found this amazing restaurant. It’s call the “Peoples Choice” and it has amazing Jamaican cuisine. It’s a must to visit! When we visit again from Indianapolis, Indiana, we will definitely be back for an awesome meal. The owners we great people!

the oxtail was a table favorite, but all the food was really good, and the restaurant staff was friendly. only thing I wished they had would be a scotch bonnet sauce

This family owned restaurant serves the absolute best Jamaican food. The service is exceptional, welcoming, and friendly. The food is always delicious. Great for vegetarians, omnis, and meat eaters. Menu highlights include veggie chunks with brown stew, rice and red beans, jerk chicken well flavored and extremely tender, chicken tenders really flavorful and juicy, carrot cake amazing, bammy (fried cassava), and fried dumpling. Best brown stew chicken, curried goat and wings are also available. The owner stops by tables to ask if customers are enjoying the food. This place is busy and that good. People feel at home every time they visit.
