“Today my sister wanted some soul food and heard so much great things about this restaurant and the owner and employees along with the good food they sell. I drove all the way from Miami Dade area of liberty city to try them out, and OMG the food was delicious and on point.
very flavorful and the turkey wings was cooked to perfection.
mac n cheese, collard greens, yellow rice. and let's not forget the Candi yams 👌 Lord knows I wanted to drive back up and purchase another 2 dinners. not too many knows how to cook because their young and lack the knowledge of how to cook a great tasty meal.

He wasn’t your typical waiter, but his style worked for a small soul food restaurant. The other male waiter/bus boy moved at super human speed. The place was very clean and definitely is a favorite of the locals. It was my first time visiting. I will definitely try it if I am ever back there.“

Potatoes were crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. Pancakes were also delicious and fluffy, melt in your mouth. I also had the snapper. Super crunchy on the outside & packed with flavor. Also had the tea. Sweet & delicious! My only disappointment is they did not have some items on the lunch menu. (I wanted to try the greens and Mac & cheese) If you're looking for bougie or perfect atmosphere, this is not your place or esthetic. This is a mom & pop home cooked, made with love place. 10/10“
