We love going to this location! We tried the Coral Gables location one day, but unfortunately, our experience there was not good, which is why we decided not to go back. To me, this Benihana location is perfect. Everything is great—the customer service, the food, the ambiance, the employees, and the management. Came to this location for the first time to celebrate a birthday, and overall, it was a pretty good experience. I made a reservation and gave them a heads up that we were celebrating a birthday with a party of seven. However, our server set the table for nine, so there were extra plates and settings everywhere that we didn't need. They also didn't seem to make an effort to move them out of the way. Unfortunately our table was located next to a free standing AC because the main AC was not working so well. The airflow was powerful and made the grill smoke go across the table where my husband was sitting. Good thing there were some empty seats to use instead. The grill seemed exceptionally hot- seemed to burn some of the food- like the veggies and rice. I don't know if it is set on one temperature or it can be adjusted.
