Drizzly Sunday afternoon, so we called ahead. The proprietor confirmed she was open and met us in the front of her quaint office. Very kind woman, easy to talk to. She had the entrance blocked off for social distancing. Would be improved if there were a place to sit with more shade. Her signs have hours, but she can also open by appointment if she expects you.
I stopped off while traveling because Google maps "knows" to alert me when there's a vineyard nearby. There was no option for tasting due to the covid pandemic and I understood. I was thankful she took the time to meet me and tell me about the vineyard. I purchased 2 bottles based on her detailed description and recommendation after I shared my likes and dislikes. I could not be happier with my selections! I am planning to travel back just to spend time at this vineyard

We found this place by happenstance, coming home from Monticello.The gate was open so, we drove in and called/texted as requested by a sign on the road.Our host, Cynthia, was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. We did the taste test, of course! The port wine, Piacere, was a pleasant surprise!It was a more intimate wine sampling than I've experienced at other vinyards.
