I decided to take my husband here for his birthday. Everything was good. Usually we’d go to Trulucks or Capital Grille who really acknowledge the occasion. At Le Colonial, nothing bar a tiny candle on his saucer with the coffee he ordered. Zero acknowledgment of my husbands birthday. Visit for a nice enough meal, it’s no great shakes but good. DO NOT VISIT FOR A CELEBRATION
The food continues to be among the most interesting in Naples, and the dining room was, as usual, lovely. But there were two problems. The room was FREEZING: I had to go out to the car to get TWO sweatshirts for my wife; other women in the room commented thereafter with envy. We had a wonderful time at happy hour at La Colonial! The atmosphere was warm, elegant, and inviting, making it the perfect place to relax. The food was fresh and delicious, the cocktails were excellent, and the happy hour specials were a great value. The restaurant is located in a very nice area, and the ambiance is upscale fine dining with a French/Italian sounding Vietnamese fusion. Guests can enjoy a perfect corner booth to soak in the gorgeous ambiance and a perfect selection of French Vietnamese flavors, including the lychee martini. The attentive staff and service make for a perfect dining experience. The restaurant has been highly recommended and does not disappoint, with everything from the appetizers to the snapper and curry being perfect. The servers, such as Siri, are personable and treat guests like very special people, helping them navigate the menu and suggesting various options.
