We had a pleasant first experience at this restaurant. Although they struck out twice on our wine selections, I'm still rating them with 5 stars since we came in for the food. We ordered bacon, mushrooms, cheese sticks, filet minion, flounder picata, gouda mac & cheese with chicken, and popcorn shrimp. Everything was delicious! We arrived at the restaurant around 6:00 pm on a Saturday and were surprised to find it wasn't very crowded. The initial impression was positive—the dining room was clean, and the staff wore formal uniforms. We chose to sit "outside" since the restaurant overlooks the water, although it was enclosed with plastic windows. Billie Jean was our server tonight for our 12th Anniversary and we couldn't have asked for better service. She was excellent and all of our food was delicious. Definitely our favorite restaurant in Navarre.
