“Unfortunately our visit this time (we come about once per month) was subpar. The good stuff - food was excellent and our server was good. Bad stuff - we had a reservation but were made to wait 20 minutes. Your front staff seemed flustered. I have to assume the folks at the table that was promised to us stayed longer than they should have? Maybe you put folks there earlier with no reservation? That’s unclear. But what is clear is that the ability to make a reservation so we don’t have to wait keeps us coming to Sonapa. So it was a let down. I think better management of reserved tables is needed and if you seat someone without reservations at a table that is reserved for 5:45, let the party know they need to vacate by then.“

“We enjoyed the outdoor patio. The staff was friendly, attentive. The food and drinks great! What a great beach town. We had our dog with us and this place allowed the dog on the patio. We had a bit of a problem finding a place right off. But we were pleasantly surprised with the whole place. Definitely recommend.“

“I want to like this place more. Great prices, great service, probably the only true hole in the wall place in all of NSB. Unpretentious, open late, has its own vibe. But..the smell is hard to deal with. It smells like an old musty back bedroom in grandmas house. And the bathroom smells like rotten piss. As constructive criticism…please fix this.

Edit: They haven’t said anything but the last couple times I’ve been in there it’s noticeably better. Maybe it’s a coincidence maybe it’s not but at any rate….thanks for the improvement.“

“What a gem! I'm new to the area, but my friend is a local who can often be found at Surf Lounge partaking in interactive gaming, pool tournaments, or simply enjoying a drink after a hard day's work. I've had only a few samples of the food there so I really can't speak on that just yet, however, the few "bites" were great. The staff is friendly, efficient service, and happy to answer my "not from NSB" questions. The patrons are also a friendly bunch. I think Surf Lounge will be a favorite watering hole ...and I recommend all you tourists vacationing in New Smyrna Beach to stop in to Surf Lounge, relax, have a drink, and a bite to eat ... It's my kinda "retro" for sure.--Sandy

“Stopped by for lunch today. It has been a while since we have visited the Corkscrew. The service and food were top notch.
More importantly, all employees seemed generally happy to be there! All were working as a team and not rushed. Bri (our server) was excellent.

“Nice beach side restaurant with great views. Inside is extremely nice with lots of table seating and an excellent bar with numerous bar stools. They have a large outside deck with ample seating and ocean views. They also have an outdoor tiki-bar style bar that is very nice. Food was good, not great and they were out of the item that I really wanted. The staff were friendly and attentive. It was low tide when we were there as the photos show. I would say this is a great bar to get drinks and enjoy the view.“

“Along with many awesome visits here, we had our daughters rehearsal dinner at Ocean Breeze and I can’t compliment Jimmy and his team enough! They were so helpful and accommodating, the food was DELICIOUS and Joey, Frankie and Evan took great care of us! Can’t wait for our next visit to NSB so we can come back!
