“The drinks and mixologist are AMAZING. I’ve never had a drink I didn’t like. They are also complimented with a perfect smile!I’d only recommend having the musicians turn the speakers down a tad as it can be too loud to converse during songs.“
“Great bar a little off the beaten path. The staff was super friendly and made sure to keep everyone served and entertained! Well stocked liquor bar with lots of variety. “I called for a last minute reservation the morning of myself and a few girlfriends wanting to do a brunch. I didn't expect to get a table and figured we'd wait but the hostess was so accommodating. Although it sounded like she was booked for the time we requested, she gave me a few options. We ended up choosing 2 split tables inside next to each other. When we got there the tables still had others seated at them and they felt really bad so we ended up moving outside. It was a little chilly but nothing unbearable. We didn't order drinks because a few had driving from very far. For brunch I got the smash burger with an egg, and a side of bacon. Everything was cooked perfect. The girl next to me had ordered the grilled cheese and that looked fire as well ((however, it did included ham, which looked rather fatty so definitely keep that in mind)) everyone else's food looked amazing! Our waitress was so attentive and our food came out within reasonable time. I can't wait to go back!“
“Great place and incredible staff. ?A little girl walked in looking for her mom ( I think she was lost or something of that nature) they jump in and protected the child, kept her calmed and safe. Until the police arrived and still stuck to her side at all time.You guys are awesome.“
“Something about this place that just makes you want to stay the whole day. It's comfy, lots of decorations to look at, has family history and their brews are all homemade in-house by the owner himself. We got two rounds of their German lager and it was delicious. We also got a four Scottish whiskey sample which I forgot most of the names, but remembered the specific Paddy's one. This one was so good that we asked our server where we can buy this in Florida. I've been to Scotland before so coming here was like reliving my best memories in Europe. Strong drinks and friendly people. I love it here!“

“Glenwood Tavern is the newest bar in Deland. The Tavern was a great spot 20 years ago. And now it's on its way to being a great spot again. Thanks to the new owners that restored the historical site. We can retrace our memories from back in the day. Pretty cool...And just in time for bike week.Brand new stage with a fire pit to keep warm when your watching the band's. Fresh smoked grocieries and good groceries.And a shiny clean washed scooter from the bikini girls at the bike wash to ride out out on when it's time to head out.What's not to like“
“This place always feels very inviting. New or not. The bartenders are very friendly and great to talk to. They have darts and a pool table. Wednesday nights there's karaoke. That can be fun. Overall I think this is the most friendly bar I've ever been to here in Deland. I've only had food here very few time so I don't think I'm the best judge of it but what I have tried has been pretty good. No liquor here but still a great place to chill and laugh with friends and friendly strangers.“
“One of the best spots to grab a beer in the area! The bar is fairly dark, but has a nice charm to it, and they always have at least a couple brews on tap or in the cooler that are worth drinking! For example, my photo is of a glass of Bruery - Black Tuesday, a beer I’ve always wanted to try but have never seen on draft in FL in over a decade, but yet here it is randomly on draft at Abbey with no promotion or fanfare, and that’s fine, because it means more for me =]“
“LOVE the Friday night live music!! The lady who was singing with band on Friday March 15 was absolutely amazing and every song was incredible!! They have karaoke and line dancing lessons too on some other days. Pizza and bartenders are so welcoming and friendly. A little something for everyone here. If you think the music is too loud, it’s not, that just means you’re too old!! ????“
“My band played here for new years eve the place was great everyone was super friendly and accommodating made my night a little easier as a drummer/entertainer would love to be back soon and give them a better sounding drum kit my bottom snare drum head broke and it sounded pretty bad thought I was prepared for everything except for that it never happens first Time I ever broke a bottom snare head in my 41yrs of playing go figure“
“It’s a good sized club with a short lineup of girls, so that definitely makes it more personable. Prices are fair for table dances, private shows, and champagne rooms. The speakers are loud, the stage has one single pole with a walkway, and the lighting is super sick. They also have specials throughout the week on drinks. It’s under new management as well. It’s way better than the surrounding clubs now.“
“We had great communication with Heidi, who reserved our table as the number of guests kept changing. Our server was friendly, informative, and patient as we chatted for a bit before we were ready to order. Drinks came out promptly. Everyone at our table of 10 enjoyed their food. I was grateful that there were healthy dishes and not just the same tired offerings I see everywhere these days. Our one complaint is that after our food was delivered, the server never came back. Not to ask how things were, not to take a dessert order, nothing, until she brought the check quite a while later. We were celebrating a special occasion and would have ordered dessert. She also did not offer a take-home container for one in our party who obviously needed it. It was just strange to be ignored for 45 minutes, and left wondering when the check would arrive. Then when it did, the tip had already been added because were were a large group. OK, I get it, the server should not be stiffed. We are generous tippers anyway. But I had to wonder, would she have been more attentive if she weren't assured of her tip? We would have added more to the 20% if she hadn't forgotten us.“
“There are two places to be in DeLand, and this is one of them. Great bartenders, great regulars, friendly people everywhere just trying to get by and put their own pieces together. Don't be fooled, though, because none of us have completed our puzzle. But for some, the pieces lay in rest here, awaiting discovery. That's about as philosophical as I'm going to get regarding a dive bar, so take it or leave it.“
“We have eaten at The Table several times. The food is always very good, and this visit did not disappoint. We ended up sitting downstairs inside because it was raining outside and the noise level made it very hard to relax and talk. I think is partly due to the accoustics of the room. But we still had a nice, but not so intimate meal.“
“I wanted to leave a nice review for Kim the manager on duty while I was there. She handled my steak situation very well and I’m glad it was finally resolved after the third time it was brought back. I think she was waiting for me to loose my cool but that’s not how I handle things….I mean, its just a steak. Kudos to her for taking care of me! Give her a raise!“

“Holy cats we love cafe da vinci!!! We drive all the way out from Ocala to hit this place up. They get some really great music acts up in here and absolutely recommend! This is an inside/outside venue with an outside stage, a little area with pool table plenty of dance room, a big outside bar with awesome very professional bartenders, another smaller outside bar, an inside bar and more pool tables inside. Great atmosphere, kind of a road house. When i try to describe it to people we know, i imagine its like a south american roadhouse for like american expats, like in bolivia or something. Theres some kind of food thing on the outside of the venue and a patio area with tables and chairs. Ive looked at the food and it sounds delicious and priced right but unfortunately i havent sampled any. Lots of nearby free well lit parking.Management, if you read this, get some margarita machines up in there.“
