“My husband spotted this bakery on his way home & decided to surprise me on Mother’s Day with some of their delicious cake pops - so yummy that a few days later we had to go back and buy some more for the family! I also decided to cancel our typical grocery store cake for my husband’s birthday and order it from here instead. My husband is a carrot cake FANATIC and we both agree this was easily hands down the best one we’ve ever had. Frosting was the perfect mix of sweet but not overbearing, freshly shredded carrots gave us that cozy homemade feel, and the candied nuts were our favorite part. We’re super happy we stumbled across this gem of a business! We will definitely be back for any celebratory treat & every sweet tooth craving in between!“

“I just wanted to give a good review for your place. It was recommended by a friend and I am glad I stopped by today . Food was delicious the congri was very savory the plantains were to my liking and the pork very well seasoned. The place is very clean and inviting the service is great and the variety of pastries is excellent. I will recommend to anyone that like cuban food.“
“Great place to go when you are on a budget. Store offering discoutned tastykakes, bread, and other snacks. Most items are close to their sell by date to be sure to check. There are also lower priced selections that are well ahead of the expiration date to choose from.“
“Saturday was customer appreciation day. Drove 90 minutes from Venice for my 2nd trip there. Excellent food but no veal clops again. Also fennel sausage is a little lite in fennel. Anthony was behind the counter and looked my way. I smiled and said hello. Nothing— not even a smile. He just turned away. Anthony if you’re reading this put a smile on your face when customers are around. You’re always there— take some time off and cheer up. The young lady at the register was really pleasant and smiling and polite. Because I walk with a cane I left several items at the register and continued to shop. When I went to check out she had all my items in a basket for me. She also thanked me for traveling from Venice to shop there. I will do the trip again. Don Bucci.“

“My birthday cake went in the trash! Needed something quickly! After searching the internet for what I needed, I called. They could help me out! I really was in a big fix! I grabbed a couple of my cake tiers..and went to see what she held for me... they were very delicious cupcakes! At the party, when friends asked where I got them...people knew.."Oh..the little place.."..ayuh...watch out for those small unpretentious little shops in a plaza...its a GEM! I plan on being their customer.“

“Food is always as it should be except for they're burgers. No matter what kind of burger you order, it seems to never have any flavor. I find my self adding any kind of sauce or seasonings to give it a boost since I always order to go.“

“The ox tail stew with moro rice and plantains is fantastic! I usually have to head down to Miami or Broward County for something this good! It was tender and just fell off the bone. A large portion and filling! You won't leave hungry. I felt like I was talking to friends or family, such a welcoming environment and friendly staff. I will definitely be back to try other stuff.“

“Norman Love provided the desserts for our wedding and they were delicious! We’d decided we didn’t want to serve cake, because, well, we like other things more than cake. And after having their brownies, cookies and key lime tarts, I am thrilled with our decision. They were also able to provide a gluten free option for some of our guests with food allergies. We’d like to make a special mention of Rachel Murray at Norman Love with whom we communicated by email. She was amazingly helpful in arranging our ideal spread of desserts, and was always incredibly thorough and prompt (more so than us even) at answering our questions and figuring out what would work for us. And we were able to pick everything up at the store near us and it was all fresh and ready to go. Very happy with our experience.“
“I've ordered and tasted every bread variety Todd has made and they are ALL fantastic. If I ever get the chance to visit Florida again, I will definitely LOVE to make a personal visit here.
