“We had a genuinely great experience at Ol’Days! The food was fresh, and the French toast was honestly one of the best I’ve had in a long time. Ignacio was an absolute gem! attentive, warm, and made the whole visit even better. Lately it feels like many places are overpriced with mediocre service and attitude, but this was the complete opposite. Excellent food, excellent service, and a good vibe. Easy A+. We even forgot an important item at the table, and we called 3 hours later and our waiter had set it aside for us in the back with his personal items. Great job!“

“Stopping off at Maggie’s feels like going home. The owners and staff are all so welcoming, and they even take the time to remember your name. Often they will stop off by the cafe tables to check on us, and unobtrusively catch up with what’s going on in our lives. They have worked hard to create an atmosphere that’s cheery and roomy, yet cozy. Definitely try the Lasagna layer cake. Layers of raspberry and cream that melt in your mouth. OMG! They are serious about their coffee and it’s the best around; smooth and robust, unlike the bitter or over powering coffee at other area coffee shops. In addition to the pastries they also serve a variety of sandwiches. The pulled pork is my favorite. It’s popular amongst remote workers. I believe they also do catering for special events. You owe it to yourself to stop in and experience it for yourself. “I had an awesome experience at Sultan Nut House in Plantation! This place is way more than just nuts it’s a full-on destination for coffee, chocolates, pastries, spices, and authentic Middle Eastern treats you won’t find in your typical shop. 

From the moment you walk in, you’ll notice how clean and inviting the place feels, with a ton of unique goodies on display. The staff is super friendly and takes the time to explain flavors and let you sample before you buy big plus. 

I tried their Turkish coffee, nuts, and a few desserts everything was flavorful and fresh. If you’re curious about trying something different (like Dubai chocolate or Turkish delights), this is the spot. It’s become one of my go-to local stops for gifts or just a sweet treat. “This is the best coffee I’ve had in a while, now I’ve been to many coffee places but I don’t really review them. But after grabbing a cup here I peeked at the reviews out of curiosity I’m honestly shocked… I personally parked and was ready to step out of the vehicle until (I believe the owner) POLITELY AND RESPECTFULLY requested I brought my vehicle closer instead of walking to the front… I mean that’s literally it… why there are reviews below me that are crying and whining about customer service and rudeness is beyond my knowledge.

The woman who served me displayed nothing less but the best of service and gave me her recommendations as it was my first time. I’m here for a limited time but I intend on coming here exclusively for my morning cups! (And hopefully I’ll punch out on the card too lol)“

“I stumbled upon this Italian coffee shop and it was such a gem. You can tell it’s a spot that’s loved in town, regulars were greeted by name, and the owner made everyone feel welcome. He mentioned he’s been doing this for 27 years, and you can really feel the passion in the atmosphere. The cappuccino I had was perfect, rich, smooth, and not too strong. “It was a lovely first time visit. I am in the neighborhood and walk by it often, but this was the first time to actually go in. I would LOVE to give it five stars and it was ALMOST there. The atmosphere is lovely: clean a few nice outdoor tables both in the sun and in the shade. The staff was beyond nice: friendly warm and helpful. The prices were fair. AND THE COFFEE WAS WONDERFUL. I had the dark care mocha latte and it was smooth as proverbial silk. EXCELLENT COFFEE. It would have been perfect except I think I certainly ordered the wrong thing. I see people commenting on how good the pastries were. I am not a sweet person ordinarily, I like savory things. I ordered the chicken empanadas: MISTAKE. Now, I love empanadas. I have had them from Colombia, Argentina, Mexico and Ecuador. Sometimes they are spicy and sometimes a bit sweet (with onions and raisins) I like them all. This empanada was really bad. I am not joking. I cannot remember having a bad empanada. What as wrong: the dough was SO THICK. If you ever eat a real empanada, the dough is kind of thin and the filling full. This was all dough and so so thick that it was gummy and just all dough. The filling was meager and dry. Instead of juicy it was dried out chicken with no flavoring or sauce, just a slight taste of curry. The entire empanada was left on the plate after one bite. I love this adorable neighborhood place and I will be back. I am really not an injustice collector. I really wanted to be able to say five stars, instead of four or four and a half. As I said the atmosphere, service and coffee were top rate, but whoever made those empanadas should really find out how to make them. I will trust the other people who posted reviews and order one of the pastries next time. Sorry, but I really loved the time I spent here, but disappointed that the whole empanada was left on the plate. I am sure the pastries are a lot better.“
